Growing Cannabis Outdoors in Northern Ontario 2022

It’s only mid July here in Northern Ontario, Canada and all my cannabis plants in the 5 gallon buckets are flowering now. I will be harvesting some Sour Diesels and Durga Matta II CBD plants soon. The diluted milk I sprayed on my plants to help prevent powdery white mildew is really working well and keeping my plants nice & healthy too.

Want to help me grow bigger & better? I’ve just added a donate option to my channel http://www.paypal.com/paypalme/JamesColquhoun and any donations would be greatly appreciated! I’m a stay home full time Dad and I’d like to get a better camera one day but it’s not in the budget. Imagine if everyone of my subscribers just sent me one dollar I could build a real greenhouse where I could grow all year round like this one (Planta Greenhouses) https://youtu.be/128gY76JTYs

Nutrients I use to grow plants 15+ years now:
– Vegetative Stage Optimum Hydroponixยฎ Grow Formula

– Weeks 1-8 of flowering Optimum Hydroponixยฎ Bloom Formula

    No worry about theft?

So you grow so many nice strains, Do you grow your own seeds or do you buy seeds or just clone clippings? Just curious, don’t need to know where you buy seeds if you buy seeds. Do you think growing from seeds is better than growing from clones or vice versa?

Do You have a video on how you prepare a bucket for a plant or seed (like what goes into the 5 gallon buckets, I see that there are holes drilled in the buckets at different heights, Im guessing for air flow) I really like your setup.

I spend a ton of money on power here in Arizona growing. Nice we are limited to 12 plants or they lock us up were way to much butt stuff is goes down. I want to start using the sun somewhat here.

If you water or spray in the sun/ spraying the underside of the leaves and completely cooling the plant on a breezy sunny day will be fine as long as the leaves cool enough to then dry before they get too hot, (20-30 minutes to dry, careful on dreary days not to moisten too much)

I grew a Pink Champagne outside, directly into the ground, she was 11 ft tall! Always plant directly into the ground when possible. The earth is a living being.

You always have Nice Grows, I have to ask "What is the Bucket on top of another Bucket used for? to keep the Potted Plant off the cold ground? or catches the run off from watering?"

  34. Joxman2k on September 29, 2023 at 7:35 am

I think Dosidos is pronounced "Doe-See-Doe" from the dance move. It originally means back-to-back (dos-a-dos Fr.) However Doe-See-Doss is also acceptable. If you are not sure you can just call it Doe-See ๐Ÿ™‚

So a plant in a pot will finish before a plant in the ground?

  49. Milos Mihajlovic on September 29, 2023 at 8:03 am

At 3:14, water the plant (right where you brought it closer with some slightly yellowish leaves) with 1L of milk and spray on the flowers at least an hour before the sun rises and after 3 days you have to stretch it (you should have done most of it before) – let the branches be at an angle of 30 degrees and somewhere from 10:08 they will enter a serious period of flowering with a 40% better crop and if you let them grow until the end of October even longer (I don’t know what the climate is like in your country, here in Serbia we have hellish summers all July was with an average temperature of 34 degrees), for me the germination started in 05 05, vegetation around the end of July and the period of serious flowering began in 08 08 and I will let them go until the first of November, by stretching you will get "bonus vegetation with additional flowers, even if they have entered the period of serious flowering, it is not too late, I do not want to comment on autoflowering plants, only totally organic cultivation without fertilizers, nutrients, hormones, etc., etc. (all of which leave cancerous traces), there are few organic growers left impatient me, but when it comes to harvest, the wait of 6 to 7 months is worth it, Ruderalis grows everywhere here, and among the domesticated varieties, high Indica, and Serbian 11-esterac with 33% THC, and another high Indica variety crossed with Ruderalis, but fortunately, pollen was put on Indica, so it didn’t get strong Ruderalis genes, but something that even the greatest connoisseurs of cannabis would recognize, it blooms photoperiodically, not by maturity, and I mostly make a paste/oil from it, and most Italians take it, I haven’t seen a male plant for 12 years, greetings and happy work, ONLY ORGANIC๐Ÿ’ช.
