Pro-Cannabis Protests Grip Brazil as People Demand Decriminalisation of the Plant

Protesters in Brazil’s Sao Paulo take to the streets demanding decriminalisation of the plant. Pro-cannabis protesters demand that medicinal marijuana be destigmatized. Currently, Brazil allows sale and production of cannabis products but on the condition that companies import key ingredients. Next year, the Supreme Court in Brazil is expected to rule on whether companies and farmers can plant cannabis.
