The farm offers medical marijuana patients access to grow their own, but critics say big farms are a threat to cannabis dispensaries and public safety.

If HI would just get off their moral Dole Banana/Pineapple boxes and allow both better access to medicinal and recreational, this wouldn’t be an issue. I’d rather be able to access directly from a grower with a shorter farm to product chain than a shop that gets its product from a not so open distributor.

These people are obviously providing a valuable service to the community. Maybe the government is overstepping just a bit? The biggest threat is to the workers in the event of a robbery, in my opinion. This provides an honest living for many and anything we can do to make people appreciate nature is a blessing.

Sorry noa. You guys are cancelled. You guys kept selling broad spectrum cartridges, knowing nothing comes out. And your managers would give shitty attitude when I explained to them like I’m lying. The workers agreed with me too. Manager kept saying “we can’t accept return cause it’s medicine” i then said it’s still sealed tho and It doesn’t even work. He then proceeded to say he’ll give me store credits of the $200 that I spent that day, cause they had a sale on those cartridges. No credit was added on the next visit. Cure Oahu and aloha green products are way better than scammer noa

Just wanted to provide additional necessary information. In light of having Marijuana in your island. Note: that decision also entices rental owners who has little income to sustain for payments to employees and to maintenance, in addition to maintaining rental units at “approval” status. Here on the mainland, there are scrupulous people who took advantage of that situation and LEASED apt to drug traffickers, using the units to cook & sell narcotics while the mgmt team got a cut from the profits, it escalated from massive quantities of Marijuana to making crystal meth (last year), to fentanyl (a few weeks ago). As these fumes went through the ventilation system of the complex. I nearly passed out in my kitchen (hours earlier was Marijuana fumes, made my bedroom smell as if I lived in the swamps of the Everglades, musty, all that was missing was the mud!). But I went to the kitchen and it was smelling like room deodorizer (I didn’t sprayed) within seconds I got light headed and almost passed out. Fentanyl does not have an odor but this neighbor thought that he could pump lots of room deodorizer to mask the batch of fentanyl. When I opened my door to get air, I saw 2 guys with backpacks loaded it into their trunk along with other items that was wrapped in black garbage bags. I immediately contacted FBI narcotics division. (Because in the past I’d contact mgmt only to find out that at 2am he comes to the complex to pick up the crystal meth). So my complex is compromised “Conflict of Interest” & association to selling narcotics in a residential zone. And this is happening in many places all over the city. Even cops get paid off to keep silent. It’s the tenants that suffers financial stress because they’re forced to move instead of evicting the drug dealers. Many of these complexes are funded by Federal Programs of Section 8 housing. No one cares what takes place because using the units to sell and pretend to live in it while owning homes is malicious, cruel, insensitive and criminal. Harms the tenants and children living in the units. But nothing gets done, complaints goes in one ear & out the other because everyone get paid from the profits. So if you thought selling Marijuana legally there on the island will help you financially. I can tell you that those medical bills & surgeries will escalate. Your medical facilities swamped and not enough cops to deal with the side effects of the madness, craziness, meltdowns and additional criminal acts you WILL be confronting. Setting up dispensaries on an island that LACKS proper lands to farm food and house necessary farm animals to an already dense population of lack of housing. You compromise your basic necessities of food & shelter for a fast buck that generates destruction and illnesses. I just wanted you to know the realities you overlooked. You don’t have the man power, the land or resources to deal with what comes with THAT decision. I’m still hostage here on the mainland, waiting to come home to my surrogate home of O’ahu. As if I haven’t endured enough, you decide to do this as well. (I was supposed to be there in 2007, but because I witnessed Federal Fraud here on the mainland, I’ve been a victim and hostage ever since). The United States likes to collect Angels as souvenirs against our will. (The things that are done to us 😱 just to force us to remain here on the mainland, I’m not even from this country). They think we’re toys! 🌎☄️👀. 🫣.

Get big money out of the marijuana industry supported by the state through the dispensaries. The state regulations make it difficult for the licensing of the dispensaries. The grower on Oahu is spot on. Smaller operation that actually serves the community rather than the state coffers.

  35. Mike Cappa on October 18, 2023 at 1:08 pm

    No !
These big Costco style grow rooms help no one and create a environment for crime and greed. This is an example of how they messed up the cannabis laws. It sets a precedent for other factories like this.
Next it will be organized big crime syndicats.
    Shut them down.

  43. Gigi Trinidad on October 18, 2023 at 1:18 pm

You made the biggest mistake of your lives. That is a narcotic. It’s not medicine. It dormants the brain to think it got rid of the problem, it tampers with mobility putting your brain on slo-mo. When the effects dissipates your body craves for stronger long lasting effects, hence “addiction. Unlike nicotine, this narcotic is more dangerous because it’s fumes are stationary. It doesn’t dissipate because it’s CHEMICAL molecules are denser. The oxygen in the air fights for air rights. Here on the mainland, that has brought nothing but trouble. More criminal acts than ever, extreme meltdowns, heightened psychotic anger and the introduction of chemical added “other narcotics”, naming crystal meth and fentanyl as enhancement. Your public transportation system will be compromised because the heavy dense fumes these people are bathe in gets stuck inside those buses where passengers have difficulty breathing due to lack of oxygen. Same goes for your retail businesses, the stench stays inside where it disturbs the shoppers even at the checkout lanes. You have many people allergic to such toxic chemical narcotics. And children who should not be exposed to drugs. These people get to the point of having illegal dispensaries in rented apts as source of income while neighbors suffocate in their apts due to the fume leaks. How are you going to promote something like this if your island is not equipped to have hospital grade machinery to remove narcotic fumes that contaminates the natural air and compromises the oxygen. In addition, you don’t have enough law enforcement to deal with the heightened madness that narcotic does. That plus homeless people equal disaster. This narcotic was never meant for humans. This was a plant design in ancient days to help hunters sedate wild animals while they hunted for food, killing only what they needed because refrigeration didn’t exist yet. Otherwise, those animals would of been extinct within the 1st year of its creation. Drug doesn’t solves problems, it creates problems. Because of those exposure to those fumes, it burned my eyes while on a bus, lost my vision in one eye to which it required surgery. The worst part is that I can’t find an attorney to sue the USA because of it. If you thought it stopped there, nope. Another fume exposure hit my eyes and now my eye with surgery has lost part of it corrective vision and it hasn’t been a year yet. The eye doctor can’t explain what it is that’s growing in my burnt eye so fast. He claims to another staff member…”He’s never seen anything like this”. If my testimony doesn’t help you to understand how DANGEROUS it is to have that on the island with no RESPECT for those who does not go near narcotics. I can’t understand then how can you express “Aloha” and place peoples’ health in danger as well as their safety. Cigarettes carries warning labels. This narcotic literally brings a list of caution that the Government is not willing to share with you. You will see many people running into ER’s, Urgent Cares, and walk-in to their doctors. Pulmonary and Allergists can’t help them because there are NO medications to help victims be able to breathe that blocks out those fumes. Unless the United States is willing to provide everyone free of charge “Chemical Grade gas masks”. Those fumes alters blood lab works and causes serious side effects from it’s fume exposures. I urge you to evaluate what is more important to you…Life or Money. That “could” bring in money but at the expense of others health, you lose more and spend more than what you can make from it. 🥸

  44. Wasabi Ginger on October 18, 2023 at 1:19 pm

This is the “state” being cut out of too much money … you know they don’t like that … so they will shut this down due to the greedy gov we got!

  45. Free Radical on October 18, 2023 at 1:19 pm

Not wise to use large tracts of land for farming recreational drugs. The land is much to valuable and should be used for growing food. Let people grow their own pot. It was a lot better that way, back in the day. With that said that farm doesnt look all that big to me and as long as it doesnt cause the neighbors any grief then let it be. In Oregon the Cartel came up and tried growing hundreds of acres at a time. Didnt work out, they sucked all the water, the slave labor drained the local stores of food, and the heavy traffic destroyed the roads, and they treated the USA like a toilet.
