For reference, in California it is quite difficult to find a dispensary, especially outside of urban areas. Because of the limitations and regulations on opening a dispensary, they’re not as prominent in California as others states.

Rescheduling sounds like a scam to me. It’s going to stagnate legalization momentum and assure continued generation of fine money for the government.

But, you won’t allow people to work if they consume it legally. They’re still denying people jobs because of cannabis consumption. Legalization is nothing if it’s not fully and effectively decriminalized in the states. It’s redundant to legalize it for recreational purposes to begin with because most of the people in these states work within their states and these jobs still test for THC. It doesn’t make sense to legalize it but still hold it against people. That doesn’t seem fair

    No rescheduling
Descheduling only. Tobacco and Alcohol takes so many lives annually and it’s not scheduled

Dr Patel: “There are only three FDA approved cannabis medical products…” So, the US govt has approved cannabis products? I thought they said schedule 1 substances DONT have medical value? Hypocritical maybe?

We need anti weed campaign similar to anti smoking

  13. sjcflawless on October 29, 2023 at 2:42 pm

What’s mind blowing is that the commerce clause theoretically is the loophole. So in a way, it’s supposed to be legal now.

I want to save this I’m 60 years old I first smoked my first joint when I was like 15 smoke football year didn’t smoke for five years smoke for the next five years didn’t smoke for another 13 years smoke for probably two or three years do you wanna become a truck driver for a quit again? It’s not addictive it’s a mental thing. If you think you’re addicted you’re addicted but if you were out of weed, you don’t go steal some weed usually without it. Wow what we do it’s better than a beer I don’t drink never have never will now never told you other stronger drugs either. Never tried anything other than marijuana. Try getting drunk don’t like that just like my weed. I won’t bother nobody. Nobody bothered me. I’m on my business day my name business I’m good if you might wanna smoke some weed I got some.

NY has many problems, but one that is turning most away from legal dispo’s is the 10% THC limit.

it is easy to get a bill through just hold the government hostage by "i will not vote on your bill until you get my bill through and made into law".

    deschedule marijuana.

the only reason(s) that marijuana was banned is to ensure that there is support to the wood and paper industry and as a loophole for state sponsored racism .

    example of forced support:

wisconsin requires 608/609 refrigeration license to buy a 6 oz can of r134a at the auto parts store that is to ensure job security for the many garages that do car repair.

    example of state sponsored racism.

a police officer is more likely to pull over a completely innocent black person based on car does not fit the driver or a small delay in signaling for turn or something than the same violation on a white person.

the health effects anytime you burn something you will create harmful health effects.
