The amount of money is looked at… in basic sales, and taxes from cannabis…The biggest losses of money that has greater value to the state, are people traveling to neighboring states where cannabis is legal…spending vacations, using motels, restaurants, entertainment, shopping, not to mention buying gas and oil to come back…Revenue is more than just government hoarding of money related to cannabis…but losses to the economic world of businesses within the state that will pay less taxes due to lack in business in N.M. People are required to be self responsible for many things like driving, drinking alcohol, owning firearms, etc…The legislature acts as if they will never be able to amend to laws thereafter…
