Why We're Finally Bullish on The Best Weed Stocks

Weed stocks may finally stop falling and start rising. One of the most popular questions asked by investors in weed stocks is why weed stocks are not working. That’s because newbie investors go all in on some shoddy OTC garbage in hopes that weed stocks are about to explode. A more rational approach to investing in weed stocks involves having realistic expectations about the volatility of an asset class that has quite depressed valuations compared to other sin stocks such as alcohol and tobacco companies. When legalization finally happens, weed stocks will rally, and then they’ll rally again when the largest U.S. multi-state operators – MSOs – begin to trade on major stock exchanges in America. A report by Key Investment Partners proposes that weed stocks are at an inflection point and now is the time to invest.

    Would love to see you make a new video on the best weed stocks and especially see you share your opinion on why they all dropped over 25% last week ( curaleaf even dropped 32% )

    Weed stocks not working because until they get federal funding they either do massive dilution or terrible debt terms

    Howard marks describes the pendelum swing best, and now we are at the bottom of the pendelum obviously. Everyone thinks it is over and hopeless (vs in 2018 everyone thought it will get better forever)

    great content as usual. I’m all for CBD replacing people who are dependent on opiod related medicine etc… but I listened to the recent huberman podcast @ 2:10:06 on cannabis and some of the stats about how 15% of pregnant woman were using cannabis related products, was quite alarming, after he went into the science behind cannabinoids on the effect of the developing fetus. obv, whether its being sold on the black market or legally, they would still acquire it , but interesting to project where as a society we are going with this trend as a whole

    Also, because pot companies have to pay high taxes, it makes things harder for those legal companies. I don’t trust black market items.

    Joe, great video as usual! As you know, I own TCNNF and SNDL stocks. Do you think that WBA and CVS will be tempted to enter this market as distributors? They are well located, and CVS and WBA have other advantages over the new distributors that are trying to profit this sector.

    Very interesting. As a British investor I don’t think I have much of a dog in this fight. However I don’t think I’m particularly interested anyway;
    1) I’m generally a sceptical person so national legalization isn’t something I would rely on for a decent return. I think the federal government leaving it up to the states individually for another decade is more likely.
    2) While I know a lot of Americans self medicate with weed making the potential TAM huge I think many are perfectly happy using the black market which will always be cheaper because it runs on cash making tax and bureaucracy far lower or non-existent.
    3) The Democrats currently have a weak government under Biden and the current Republican party will never legalize pushing return potential far into the future when there are many other investing opportunities now.
    4) Key Investment Partners only invest in weed so we have to take everything positive they say about the industries future with a hefty grain of salt. The three founders seem to have solid experience but you simply can’t trust someone that’s trying to sell you something. If they say "everything is on track, you should be investing now" then that makes me very cautious. They only launched in Aug 2018 and for all we know they’re fed up of the slow progress so plan to pump their market up with this report just so they can sell their holdings and transition to normal investments.

    Sucks we came up one vote short for the SAFE act, but I think this year is the year because it should be way easier to get a few Republican votes in the House than in the Senate. I was shocked they even got 10 Republican senators so now that Dems have gained a couple votes there, it shouldn’t be a problem to get it passed in the House again despite Republican control. Tilray is my favorite position in this sector because they are prepared to infiltrate markets in Europe as well as the U.S.

    VR / AR is a substitute good for psychoactive drugs. Competition can always come from left field.

    The legal market will over take the illegal market one day it’s just a matter of time. I’m buying rite now before the next pump. Be fearful when others are greedy and rite now be greedy when others are fearful . I’m buying a position in planet 13 and some ETFs that hold green thumb and others
