Man people are so clueless when it comes to growing. The reason these so called “chemicals” or as us growers call them nutrients are used is because dirt is not used so there is no nutrients in the soil. You can really dial in what the plant needs in its NPK values. I love how they say the buds are full of chemicals which is not true at all. There is a 2 week flush period where the plant is given nothing but straight water with no nutrients in it and in some cases a flushing solution to pull all the nutrients out of the soil for the plant to use up any left within it to have a clean product. Any bud that snaps and crackles when lit was not flushed long enough and still contains nutrients in it which is very rare.
