Can Marijuana Help with Benzo Withdrawl?

Hey everyone! Hope you’re all doing well. : ) Today’s video is about the success I found weaning off of Xanax (among other benzodiazepines) by using Marijuana to alleviate the symptoms of withdrawal. If you or someone you know struggles with this, please watch/share this video. Weed saved my life. Maybe it can help others.

I think it’s so great that it helped and that you were able to get off benzos!!
How much time did it take for you to completely taper off them?
And how would you go about it? Like would you start reducing your benzo intake and then smoke once you started feeling the withdrawal symptoms?

Xanax fucked me up beyond your compression. 4.5 years off, still fucked. Considering marijuana. Can’t fucking take it anymore

I’m too scared shitless to try marijuana (never smoked in my 25 year old life although I live in a country where it’s legal), but I’m 2 months post taper from benzo’s and I feel like I’m in deep hell with all the symptoms.
Just came by to ask, how are you feeling now?

It helped me!!! Love you CBD oil!! Was on Klonopin and Valium for four years. That Valium is a bitch to get off!! It’s the worst form of withdrawal along with alcohol!! Never knew that, worse than hard street drugs, who knew? πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ but thanks to CBD I’m off it!! It saved my life; it really did, Praise God! ✊🏽

I’m just realizing all these shitty feelings I have been having could be due to long term on and off benzo use. I need to quit fully but the sheer terror I get sometimes makes me run back to that little white pill.

Hypothetically, if someone were to smoke every day for a month and not take the benzos, could they coast through benzo withdrawal? Because it definitely helps relieve my symptoms. Granted, I don’t want to be high every day, but if the end result is getting "right" again, it would be worth it.

High CBD! Northern lights, grandaddy purps, GSC, face off og, diamond og, purple punch, and bubblegum help me greatly. I was on 200mcgs of fentanyl, 80 YES 8-0 mgs of dilaudid (for "breakthrough" pain), 5-10 xany bars, and 6-10mgs on kpins at night to sleep. I did this for over 20 years, 24/7. So, you can imagine how bad off I was (I died, and multiple times). I broke my back at the age of 12, spent 5 years in a wheelchair, have a spinal cord stim. Implant, fused from L2-S1, lamenectomies ,yadda yadda yadda… Had 4 cardiac arrests and 2 grand mal seizures coming OFF of everything in 2016. Edibles, high dosages, concentrates, and full spectrum CBD isolate did wonders for me. I’m now back to a normal life, a professional jazz drummer, and have my life back after spending 20 years on that shit, all prescribed to me TOO, through "pain managemen"! Eventhough they knew I had a problem and was going to die. Good for you, sis! Keep it up, and help those get through the nightmare you’ve journeyed through. Much respect!
