How Michigan's booming marijuana industry is affecting customers, businesses
The legalization of recreational marijuana in Michigan has had quite an impact. June was a record month with recreational sales of over $254 million, and medicinal sales close to $7 million. With all that cash flowing, the tax dollars from those sales are also making record profits for the state. The marijuana industry from a retail standpoint has been budding recently for consumers as prices drop for some products.
Street pot is all we had prior to legalization, so why now is street pot now bad? (State revenue got hurt is the truth!)
Good news for me in terms of job security. Meaning that it’s going to be hard to find future employees that can pass a hair follicle test. Most high paying jobs want clean workers.
That means the number of people getting high is increasing. Wonder what impact that has on job performance, employment rate, driving risk, and being unproductive in life.
Hell yea we all growing and smoking
Michigan needs to recycle the money into rehab. Every penny should be accounted for because it is a young industry. If not it should be a government project
