Missouri microbusiness marijuana license | Missouri Cannabis Lawyer

What are Missouri Marijuana Microbusiness Licenses?

Starting in 2023, people over the age of 21 in Missouri may apply for a license to cultivate, manufacture, and dispense marijuana products as a Marijuana microbusiness. In order to apply for a microbusiness license, you must be eligible under the law to obtain either the Microbusiness Dispensary License, or the Microbusiness Wholesale License.

The Microbusiness Wholesale license can cultivate and manufacture marijuana products and sell them to another Microbusiness Dispensary License. The Microbusiness Dispensary license can buy marijuana from Microbusiness Wholesalers and retail them at their locations. I’m awaiting my only felony conviction to be expunged in Missouri. I am presently a Alaska resident.
My question is, can I get a micro cultivation now? Or do I wait till I get moved back to MO?

So if you have a net worth of under 250,000 or have an income less than 250% of the poverty level how are you gonna afford a facility that costs multiple 100s of thousands of $? Are outdoor grows allowed or must these all be indoor?

    Thanks for your content!

I am curious if I can gift cannabis I have grown to other medical card holders or of age consumers? I can’t seem to find this info anywhere. Thanks againπŸŒΏπŸ’š

Edit: I am currently a personal cultivator card holder in Missouri. I heard the amendment allows to gift certain amounts but I cannot find it.

I see both the pros and the cons, but overall, I think that this micro license lottery is pretty cool. I have several friends that caught possession cases years ago and it’s followed them around since. Let’s hope that it’s legit and that some of the exonerated people get first crack at the lottery. Be well, and thanks for the info!

Will they refund the people that don’t win the lottery? If not will they release the number of applicants, winners, and odds of winning the lottery?

Do you need to apply twice if you want both the wholesale and retail license? In this case it would cost $2000, $1000 for each

I live out in the farmland area in northwest mo. Already been growing for 4 years here indoor and have a functioning homestead that takes care of almost all of my other needs. How can I get to grow this bc it would really really help my financial situation, as tomatoes and peppers dont sell very high and my profit margin on my normal market garden crops are very low in comparison to cannabis. Iv worked in the industry for a year and it was just a complete waste of time and filled with harrassment and the worst of the worst of people. I’d love to be able just to have a small operation that I can do in the basement with the few HLG lights I have. Be nice if uncle same didnt havta put his foot down on me it seems.
