What we can learn from Canadian cannabis is that non-potheads are reluctant to start smoking pot as a raw flower. And potheads are more inclined to buy the raw flower from their black market source because it’s cheaper. Hence Canada hugely over supplying. They are now starting to move towards process products like pills, and food. Even for medical users. Processing cannabis requires money, know how in particular industries, and research. US producers can’t do banking, get loans, or insurance because pot is illegal federally. The exception is Canopy who’s owned by Constellation so they can do all the funding and research in Canada then ship the end processed products to the US.
