How do you determine the downward angle of the cap tho? Like to match the face perspective. Or is it always the same because all caps are the same

Could you do a video on how to draw a cone or tapered cylinder in 1 point perspective looking at the tip? As if starring directly at the point of say, a pencil or rapier?

    that’s cap

    (i’m so sorry)

  17. @Frenchaboo on September 26, 2024 at 8:05 pm

I actually struggle with the crown part more usually, haha πŸ˜… It’s hard to get the shape right without making it too big, but also not too round and tight so it doesn’t look like a swimming cap.

  18. @tacticslc4805 on September 26, 2024 at 8:06 pm

The visor part is tricky to get because it’s angled and not in same orientation than the rest, which is also it’s purpose otherwise it wouldn’t protect from the sun

  19. @muscifede on September 26, 2024 at 8:07 pm

    nino πŸ™

  29. @Forcommentingpurposes on September 26, 2024 at 8:18 pm

Another tip is that the very top of the hat is a center line to the visor, so it’ll be easy to place the four corners

  30. @xSPAZNSPARTANx on September 26, 2024 at 8:19 pm

This’ll help with drawing Master Chief’s helmets, both Mark V and Mark VI, a lot easier.

I love that the video ends with the new and improved version and loops back to the original one because I can clearly tell why this advice is so important
