Given enough time Oklahoma outdoor growers will select and breed strains appropriate to their climate.

Be prepared for extreme winds in the summer outdoor season. Use bamboo and other material to protect and stabilize your plants from our extreme winds.

I am a cannabis accountant in Tulsa but have been considering having my own grow due to how much can be deducted compared to dispensaries/ processors.

Can’t wait for more of these Oklahoma series. Honestly this is the only video I’ve found so far that is actually for growing here in Oklahoma. Even tho really it was just basic information. it still helped me a lot with understanding the fundamentals that I didn’t quite understand before watching.

In the uk our longest day is
    16.5L/7.5d 21st june,
the shortest day dec 21st is
7.59L/16.01D, you actually get 2 flower periods every year leading up to the longest day and then after, i put a flowering plant on 15/9 before and it did start revegging, I’ve found 14/10 allows flowering but longer

But the wind never stops blowing here….

Another thing to consider with Oklahoma , it’s on the 37th Parrallel. Like here in Kentucky, the 37th Parallel also runs straight through the Hindu Kush Mountain Range and Santa Cruz, CA. So, the light cycles will be the same for all of the above mentioned locations. So … any of the Kush and native Afghan strains, like Mas Ari Sharif, should work great! The only way to grow outdoors during the early Spring and Late Fall months is to utilize a greenhouse setting with supplemental heat. As soon as Kentucky opens up, we will dominate the market, hands down. After all, some of our famous strains are still the most sought after on the Black Market. Killer New Haven and Kentucky Bluegrass come to mind.

Be sure and keep your plants mobile incase those pesky hail storms that frequently come through ok. And a dolly if you keep them in big pots….
