Good Mirror is now a tainted mirror for its introduction of Green Mirror. What a sad outcome for this legacy business

New businesses should respect existing residents; Gold Mirror shows nothing but disrespect for the directly impacted neighbors and child-centric businesses on the same street. Just because few people want to smoke for recreational purposes does not give them the right to take advantage of current flawed regulations and open next door to preschools and other stores specialized in serving kids. The setback of 600 feet should apply to all children, not just some. Gold Mirror lied about the on-site consumption, lied about the vacant mezzanine, occupied the outdoor parking spaces for their own benefit, and violated the good neighbor policy. Gold Mirror’s exclusion of some residents directly impacted by their decision to open a marijuana dispensary at 800 Taraval is an intentional violation of residents’ rights to know. Respect is earned, Gold Mirror doesn’t deserve an ounce for how they treated the nearby community and took advantage of flawed policy. All children should be protected under the same policy, not the case in this case of Gold Mirror. San Francisco can do better to serve needs of residents, not marijuana dispensaries and other lobbyists.

Public Safety is a major concern. Risk of Violent Robbery is high with these dispensaries.
