That’s actually my favorite ramen, and I usually just add an egg to it, mixing it together, and it tastes SOOOO good! But y’know, to each their own since everyone is born with different taste buds❤

Do they also carry the Maruchan Instant Lunch, noodle cups in Japan?
I ask because I don’t like Nissin Cup Noodles.
I only eat the Instant Lunch, chicken flavor. I prefer the texture of the noodles over the noodles that Nissin produces.
When watching Japanese creators or Americans that live in japan, this is the first time I’ve seen anyone eat Maruchan brand and if they have the ramen in a cup it is ALWAYS Nissin’s Cup Noodle. Even the Cup Noodle vending machines carry only Nissin brand.
So- can you get/buy the Maruchan instant lunch cups in Japan?
I usually take the ramen out of the water immediately after it gets slightly soft! I then get my broth seasoned and hot as heck and then put my ramen in the broth! It keeps the noodles from getting that nasty mushy texture!
Screw topping I add a bunch of seasoning and sauces to mine. I add soy, Japanese bbq sauce, Korean chili paste garlic powder, and ginger powder. Also that all goes in before you cook it. Then after I add pickled ginger and sometimes some ground beef. This is usually only good with beef ramen. I have a separate one for chicken
I don’t wanna be rude that’s just basic ramen my dad makes the best he puts in mushrooms and lots of stuff your most fancy ramen is basic plain and boring nothing compared to what my dad can make

After getting all those good ingredients you could just use some good noodles

You should have boiled water, then drop the chicken flavor and noodles in when it starts boiling.
That way the noodles absorb the chicken broth.
What you did would only make it taste ok. Some soy sauce would help as well.
