ELLO Capital says $1 billion has been invested in cannabis companies in 2019
ELLO Capital Director Jacqueline Bennett tells Proactive Investors over the past 5-10 years, venture capital firms have increased investments into cannabis companies to $1 billion in the last year.
Bennett, whose firm has worked closely with cannabis firm Acreage Holdings (OTCMKTS:ACRGF), says VC firms are seeing an increased value in cannabis and are paying attention to cannabis companies that have a strong management team and operate in US states with more relaxed cannabis regulations.
