When EggSlut opened in HK I couldn’t wait to try it. Apparently so did everyone else. So I waited till opening week cues died down.
Boy was I disappointed. There wasn’t one stand out thing about any ingredient. It was just a decent sandwich I could and do make at home. I guess that’s the appeal? A consistent burger that tastes like something you could throw together at home and they charge you for that experience?
Haven’t gone back since. Maybe it’s the experience not meeting the expectations kind of deal? Either way I was disappointed too.

I went there with my friends (yes, we’re both tourist) and I completely agree; solid sandwich but for the price, we could’ve ate like kings at most shops

I’ve never had their sandwiches in the U.S. but I had one in the UK and it was the best fried chicken breakfast sandwich I have ever had! Maybe the locations vary in taste lol
