A three-minute speech at Walnut Creek, California’s city council 9-15-09 public meeting.

Rossmoor resident Gilbert Doubet describes the benefits of medical marijuana, especially for seniors. Doubet then urges council members to legalize, regulate and tax MMJ dispensary operation.

Rossmoor is a 9,000-member gated senior community within the city. Its 6,500 homes and 2,200 acres comprise approximately 15% of the municipal electorate.

Currently, Walnut Creek is studying the issue of sanctioning dispensaries.
