Genuine question does the same count for a regular knife? Because it seems like you should be stabbing with the backwards grip (cuz they show that in the movies) but I would like to hear your thoughts on it 🙂
I’ve been called out
I’ll just reload my lance instead 🗿
Only use the reverse grip stab if it’s one opponent, you do it with multiple foes surrounding you, you’re dead.
Or here me out… Ransom.
But changing to reverse grip allows you to aura farm
You can still half sword in reverse grip
What about a double lightsaber with reverse grip? It will work
Look this joke of reverse grip is just too good… can we not do anything about it to keep with this joke?
It looks pretty cool
Is reverse grip better for jorking it?
"Man im screwed, I guess this is my Fate"
I disagree with the notion that it doesn’t feel awkward even if it is ultimately better.

"Switch your grip, it’s faster than reloading!" ~ Call of duty Mw2 tutorial

Cool cool now when will I ever be in a sword fight
I suggested this in the last reverse grip episode and got it from some of the executions in Ghost of Tsushima
Gaaahhhhh I love you guys so much😂
Ik you’re right but.. style points matter
The only way I can see reverse grip being useful is if you’ve got a sturdy vambrace and some sort of guard that specializes in catching an enemy’s blade against your forearm.
Don’t forget the fact you may have another enemy nearby and if you switch to reverse grip stabbing down, you are leaving yourself a lot more vulnerable to attack then you would be half-swording or normal grip
REVERSE GRIP TRUNCHEONS USED IN THE OPPOSITE HAND OF THE MAIN WEAPON OF THE OPPONENT.
Can you do a video about the viability of meteor hammer in heema? (It’s probably not so good since you can’t apply pressure consistently in one spot but I just saw a video of a guy that uses it and I think it’s pretty cool)
Quick question how to not cut your self when half swording?
What about reverse half sword grip. That would give the most power and control
Reverse grip is actually better when you running away or just carrying your sword around.
I wonder if they saw my video😂 reverse is not very good lol
Clearly the secret to reverse grip. Is to reverse the reverse grip!
"Isn’t that just forward grip" NO! It’s Reverse Reverse Grip! Trust me bro!
What you Hit your Enemy with the Krosguard?? Would this be more Efficient?
isnt half swording just reverse grip but better? and so with every other grip?
Yhea all in all Reverse Grip only realy has 2 Uses
If you are running and dont have a sheat it lowers the risk of injury if you trip etc (outside of Combat situations obviously)
and depending on the blade (mostly stuff like a dagger) it can help you have the weapon in your hand while concealing it from somebody you are approaching
I think I know a way to use reverse grip. Use it defensively, and have it against your arm, but the flat part of the sword. This should work for deflecting an enemies sword since it would go down to the floor. This would mainly work using another sword with regular grip to attack. Also, when you swing the sword that is regular grip, lunge the reverse grip sword like a spear, but make sure your body has the reverse grip side a bit more forward. The enemie should block the slashing sword sich it could do more damage, but this only works if the apponet has only one weapon, and no shields or other weapons.
I can barely stand Log Horizon because of you.
Best is when you do a suplex motion with the sword in both hands, over your head backwards, and stab it into your opponent, then use the sword to vault/backflip over and pull it out of them like the sword in the stone.
I’m not knowledgeable about sword fighting but to me I say why wouldn’t I just put both hands on the handle and stab down with my weight? Like in my mind surely using both hands is better then one in this case and it wouldn’t add any extra time or risk putting your off hand on the handle.
Or am I wrong?
Nah I’ll keep reverse gripping it 😂😂😂😂
half swording without gloves hurt a lot 🙁 my fingers go bye bye :((((((((((((
What about reverse bow?
Clark! You are support to be on the side of RGC!(reverse grip community)
Politely answering while being stabbed is monty python activity.
Genuine question from someone that doesn’t even remotely do any of this but thinks it’s so cool: if you do that half sword thing for stabbing wont there be a chance that you hurt your hand that is touching the blade itself? Like your grip might slide down(or up i dont know)
That ill grin… 😀
Now sword the water melon, knight 🗿
I love that double fuller sword btw! Where is it from? Does it come in a sharpend ‘live’ blade as well as blunt?
Hear me out: Half swording is reverse grip with extra steps.
