I’ve had weed psychosis a few times but I love weed. Usually when I smoke at first when it hits me I feel like I’ve done something horribly wrong and that gives me paranoia. I agree with professor green. Legalise it then people know what they are smoking. The stuff you buy on the streets is like playing Russian roulette

Kudos for the Video! Sorry for chiming in, I am interested in your opinion. Have you tried – Mackorny Marijuana Paradise Blueprint (probably on Google)? It is a good exclusive product for giving up smoking weed minus the headache. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my buddy finally got excellent results with it.

Pot can cause psychosis. An individuals chance could be 100% given their genetic makeup and environmental factors. The chance of something happening to you increases with your belief that it will not happen. Why? Because you base your behavior on that idea. Also, remember that if you see 100 people in your life smoking pot without much ill effect and there is a 1 in 100 chance that it can trigger psychosis….where is that one….probably somebody you will never meet– in a mental hospital– in the states this is likely after commiting a crime that was caused by the psychosis. Do not mess with drugs. You are all you need right now in this moment.

How many aliens are there on Mars? Oh by the way, there is no ‘connection’, let alone a causal link, between cannabis and psychosis. Getting too high doesn’t count. ‘The Skunk’ is a term used by cannabis illiterates.

3 nights ago I had a heavy smoke sesh. After about 30 minutes of the first spliff (0.7g of silver haze). I started to feel my heart beat really fast and I got myself worked up into thinking I was having a heart attack, I literally thought I was dying. I was also experiencing some weird feelings like I felt I was just watching everyone go by through a TV as if I wasn’t there. I felt like i didn’t exist and i didn’t know who I was properly. Not as major as an ego death.

The next morning I just kept smoking and smoking all day and I was still insanely aware of my heart but just brushed it off and all of this whilst I was still feeling out of touch with reality. It got to a point where I thought people were telling me to wake up and that I collapsed but I didn’t, like in my mind for a few moments I was getting told to wake up.

It’s been 4 days and the last thing I smoked was a blunt last night of the same strain and basically I still feel bad… like I’m still overly aware of my heart but it’s a bit less now. If anyone is experiencing this then I’d suggest to stop smoking weed and go on a break for a while and see how you feel.

I smoked marijuana for 6 months and developed a bad psychosis as a result of a batch in which THC was too high. I felt like I was gonna die, this is 100% true folks, watch out.

2days ago i drank 1 gram of 98% distille oil, I went straight into a stage 10 drug induced phycosis running around my home screaming for help banging on neighbours doors I eventually rang the ambulance from start to finish I was heavily hallucinating my body was made of hot lava and my skin was simply keeping it all together I could see the lava through holes in my skin, I have taken lsd before and other then that i rarely do drugs, but please take my word thc is no joke Iv had some 1 or 2 episodes of paranoia from smoking joints but that had been it from here on in I will never smoke marijuana again, I honestly people need to recognise signs with certain drugs when using them and if your getting signs which could be small episodes of paranoia or such stop using the drug

  14. 7AY on November 23, 2019 at 4:39 am

Shout out P G, had drug schicosis for couple years now. not as bad anymore but it got to the point I wouldnt leave my flat in weeks thinking even my mates were planning to rob me or kill me or just some mad shit going through my mind

People are so quick to both blame weed and protect it without looking at it at what it actually is. It’s not some miracle cure for all ailments and it’s not the root cause for psychosis and/or other disorders. I’ve smoked without abusing it for the past 9 years or so, I may smoke 1-3 joints a week, it’s brilliant for sports recovery and I find it helps me unwind at the end of a long week – much like a glass of whiskey. It helps me with pain, relaxation and getting to sleep – but only because I do not abuse it. My friend – who is the reason I find myself watching this video – has smoked on average 3 joints a day for the past 9 years. He was an extremely intelligent kid with amazing prospects, and is now experiencing schizophrenia and psychotic symptoms. He uses weed as he has fibromyalgia and is in constant pain, he chose to self medicate because he believes the risks outweighed the benefits. Nowadays he loses track of what’s real and what isn’t and he’s at his worst after smoking, it’s incredibly sad to see. I’m not saying weed directly caused these symptoms, but it definitely made them more prominent and worsened their effect.

My point is not everybody can get away with smoking weed. Some people can smoke 10 joints a day for 10 years straight and see little to no effect on their psychological state, some people may need less than that to experience psychotic episodes and damage their mental health. I accept weed is a brilliant treatment for some things, but please if you’re reading this keep track of your smoking. Keep note of how you feel inside yourself, if you feel lazier than normal, if you feel slower than normal or if you feel a dependency on it to get to sleep. Not everyone can get away with smoking, it can chip away at your mind with out you even realising it and I promise your friends don’t want to see it ruin your life and you don’t want to see it ruin your friends life. Weed is amazing when respected, I still smoke to this day; I acknowledge the risks, I moderate my smoking and most of all I detox and evaluate my mindset every now and again.

  16. Isaac on November 23, 2019 at 4:39 am

I have quit smoking weed because I have begun to develop an antisocial personality that has increased since moving up from joints to bongs. I have depression and have problems with paranoia but I used weed to calm me down and to chill out with friends. But as my therapist has told me, the damage to my brain that weed has done already is perminant. I was close to a psychotic episode if I had not stopped. People don’t have to not smoke, that’s not what I’m saying here, but people predisposed to schizophrenia or phycosis are more likely to have it triggered when they have just *one* joint or bowl.

  17. Real World on November 23, 2019 at 4:39 am

Actually stronger thc levels does not induce psychosis.
If the consumer has a predisposition to mental illness it will be triggered regardless of strength.

"Weed gives you anxiety" well smoking can give you cancer. God are people really this dumb, plus the government say that they dont ban cigs because they make loads of money off them but they will also make a lot more money by making weed legal soooooo…….

I have yet to meet anyone who has suffered psychosis from smoking weed. Might get a little paranoid but…. besides if you completely crack up from smoking weed then your beliefs are definitely not built on a rock if you know what I mean

  33. Ben Greedy on November 23, 2019 at 5:12 am

I’ve personally experience psychosis indused by smoking weed and know people who have experienced the same thing.

The idea that weed is completely harmless is damaging, it has a number of effects both good and bad and people need to be educated properly and understand it.

I completely support legalization, get rid of skunk, get the product out of the hands of street criminals, take weed out of the shadows and taboo and maybe it will help us have a more open discussion.

  34. Mega Blaster on November 23, 2019 at 5:14 am

I smoke a lot of weed in a country where it is illegal I believe I smoke too much and I’m only 15 this is not good I want to stop but I just can’t because it is such a good affect I almost fainted from weed because of the effects and now I am more aware of why it is illegal I feel really bad for it, I’m going to take tests every week and if I show positive too many times I’m going to prison for minors what i mean with that is under 18 I don’t like this I believe I’m going threw a psychosis right now so don’t smoke weed even if I can’t

ever since ive started smoked weed, I’d experience things like extreme psychosis while high but even after days or weeks without smoking, I’d still lose touch with reality and feel the same effects. While I’m at work, or even at home, I’d be doing one thing and then doing another and don’t even remember the time between the 2 times. Everything feels fake.

  40. Morty on November 23, 2019 at 5:22 am

For anyone who says BS have you ever been so high you wanted it to stop? That’s the definition of psychosis, if you trip balls on weed that’s psychosis

  41. Drunk And High Sports Tournament on November 23, 2019 at 5:22 am

The " studies" that show people going to hospitals for cannabis psychosis is highly flawed.

  42. lil grump on November 23, 2019 at 5:24 am

I am a care taker of an individual that experiences psychosis when smoking weed. From first hand experience I can tell you it is indeed very real. This guy absolutely loses his mind when he smokes weed and is otherwise generally pretty normal when sober. I smoke weed basically every day and before working this job I always doubted that it could do anything like that to someone. Some people’s brains do not react the same way as yours no matter how mellow you think it might be

Let me tell you something that has an even larger negative impact on people’s mental health….
    Alcohol.
How come this is not talked about to death in the same way or more as it deserves?
Because currently the Alcohol industry trumps the Cannabis industry by a long mile and I would say are probably paying for research to find harmful bits in Cannabis.

I tried some of my friends yesterday. Made me so anxious & scared, couldn’t feel things how i usually would, lost most sense of my teeth, & had no idea what was going on.

It went a little later & i felt relaxed but BOY it wasn’t pleasant.
