You’d have to fact check me but my dad always year round prepped the ground with egg shells which are supposed to be rich in calcium. I guess in turn the ground would soak up the nutrients and feed the buds lol

Yeah, but its realy importent to use the correct calcium to magnesium ratio. Usually it’s between 2,4 and 3,5 : 1 depending on plant stage. Only add calcium if there is a visible deficiency or better use calmag..
