On Friday, Pakistan’s National Assembly approved a bill to regulate cannabis cultivation and the sale of its derivatives for medicinal and industrial uses. The Senate Standing Committee on Science and Technology had previously approved the Cannabis Control and Regulatory Authority Bill 2024 after resolving jurisdictional disputes.
