After 7 years, I have an answer. Nanners. I love them though, I kept my Lemon Skunk strain because I got seeds from it but I never knew how😂
My last harvest hermied, produced seeds, and the potency is still strong! Can’t wait to grow from the seeds.
How will the quality of the e bud be impacted should a grower find nanners on the underside of the bud? Would harvesting immediately save the amount of cannabinoids that have already been made on the still-female parts of the flower?
I’m 4 weeks of flower on my first grow ever , I have a bud site pistil hair coming out and at the same site right next to the pistils I see a calyx it’s not raised or hanging should I be concerned about it being a hermie ? Just learning I’m still unclear can you guys help me

Yea bud !! I have been growing in / out / hydro / he know / she know !! lol . And I’ve got this AJ sour on its last couple weeks and have just a couple nanners on the upper colos soo after I seen what u had to say I’m like , fml … I leave the tops of corners of tents open for extra ventilation but .. I’m almost positive that’s it ! Really appreciate u my friend ! Colorado / now Upstate NY grow team . 🙏

What do you mean by “light leaves”
I lost my entire last crop they were feminized and in week 5 of flower I noticed a hermie whiched contaminated all plants, funny the night before no hermies and next day full of hermies. One plant bottom half had all male sacs.
I read B52 by Advance Nutrient helps with hermies so this crop I have been using it since seedlings.
I have several strains but Chocolope I had 3 plants on the bottom where I lollipoped I noticed a pollinated sac opened, the Chocolope next to it had a hermie but not opened yet, and opposite end of tent I had another Chocolope all 3 plants had hermies on bottom branches so I threw out #1 that had an open pollinated hermie, the other 2 I cut 2 branches off both plants. My buds were huge already at this point and I checked daily for new hermies. Following week I cut 2 more lower branches off Chocolope plants but the rest of my strains never contaminated, as of today I have 2 weeks left to harvest. I used a sanitized blade and gloves to lollipop all plants but Chocolope was the only strain to hermie, I truly feel blessed only losing 1 plant and I feel B52 did make a difference to my Big Yield Crop. Any advice appreciated please and thank you.

You can grow seed from a Hermis cut the ball off and get pollen from a good male plant end pollen it

I love finding nanners. I will collect the pollen (which contains XX chromosomes) and pollinate receptive females to produce feminized seeds.
I got one with the dreaded nanners for the first time. Got it out of the tent and I just stuck it in the garden outdoors to reveg for a little extra bud for edibles.
Hello. When do the seeds ripen after removing a banana? Also, will it pollinate the other plants in the tent? If I cut it when the normal harvest time comes, will the seeds be ripe? I want to take his seeds while he is a hermaphrodite.
Thanks for explanation of the difference. It’s my first grow and I think based on your definition I think I caused my girl to herm (light leak). It’s got really crystally buds and sugar leafs and smells sour after with a hint of sweetness but has banana looking pollen sacs at the bottom of the buds have since fixed light leaks and know what I need to improve on the next one. Live and learn lmao
