Did you use bottle water or faucet ?

  2. @sandrakeen4000 on October 18, 2025 at 5:23 pm

That is a really good idea. I always plant my basil and it just grows and grows and I would much prefer to have a little bit of basil as opposed to some overgrown basil.

    Thanks for sharing.๐ŸŒฟ

I cut the stems, didnโ€™t trim off the lower leaves, and then directly replanted again back into my outdoor planter box. Do you think it will survive? Also the water doesnโ€™t seem to seap through all of my soilโ€ฆ.?

  6. @sophia.ciocca on October 18, 2025 at 5:27 pm

what’s the benefit of doing this vs just breaking up the existing roots and planting them?

  7. @harir1993 on October 18, 2025 at 5:27 pm

    I did the stem died

I’ve seen a movie like this. A copy of a copy of copy. Didn’t turn out so well.๐Ÿ˜‚

  14. @scuddybuddy7432 on October 18, 2025 at 5:31 pm

Lol yeah ima steal single steam from the grocery store and start my own farm

  15. @jordanjay1479 on October 18, 2025 at 5:31 pm

This method works for sure, but using scissors and exposing a little extra meristem with each cut makes root growth happen more quickly.

  16. @AngelicHeart-j7p on October 18, 2025 at 5:31 pm

    Thank you so much

  17. @LadyinOverseas on October 18, 2025 at 5:34 pm

    Nice

  18. @Freia_Love on October 18, 2025 at 5:35 pm

Wait so the original one hasn’t grown like that? It’s hard to tell but I think I did see a little more growth on the original basil ๐Ÿ‘€ can anyone help?

  19. @opewfmWPO on October 18, 2025 at 5:35 pm

You can sprout them in the same amount of time with less work by putting them into soil directly instead of water. Keeping the water clean for two weeks takes more work than watering it every couple of days for two weeks

  20. @csen96 on October 18, 2025 at 5:37 pm

Can the same process be followed for mint?

  21. @PswACC on October 18, 2025 at 5:37 pm

Sink water or distilled water? Replace Water or leave the same water during the 2 weeks?

  22. @itsleoothebambus4577 on October 18, 2025 at 5:40 pm

  25. @Critter145 on October 18, 2025 at 5:48 pm

Iโ€™ve literally done this dozens of times and the basil always dies. Thereโ€™s something youโ€™re not showing.

  26. @kristencatherine746 on October 18, 2025 at 5:49 pm

  27. @greatmaddyave on October 18, 2025 at 5:50 pm

  34. @diomedes8791 on October 18, 2025 at 5:59 pm

  35. @kasun1752 on October 18, 2025 at 6:03 pm

What if the stems donโ€™t have leaves ?? Iโ€™m trying to revive one ๐Ÿค”, the stems are green so I think there hopeโ€ฆ. Any advise

  36. @JacobSnyder24 on October 18, 2025 at 6:05 pm

You will not get roots like that without rooting hormone. A bit of a cheat that they left out of the video. Should still work without it, but a lot less roots.

  37. @toosiyabrandt8676 on October 18, 2025 at 6:08 pm

  38. @ccvasquez03 on October 18, 2025 at 6:09 pm

  43. @jonbilgutay2 on October 18, 2025 at 6:15 pm

I have tried this twice with no success. Maybe I should use distilled water.
