The fact that oxy is ok and weed is not it absolutely insane. Im a recovering opioid addict and can true and fully say that it saved my damn life.

I’d rather have reefer over pain pills, a lot more forgiving.

  3. Reg Wells on February 18, 2020 at 10:37 am

The statistics for cannabis deaths are absolutely astounding (zero%) compared to the deaths caused by opioids but Tom filled the time with his reefer madness questions. "Could it be addicting? Really just about anyone could really get it if the want to right?" This video is a waste of our time. The medical community is so far behind on this and it’s really time for them to evolve. I’ll start having faith when they start teaching the endocannabinoid system to the new med students and old ones alike.

It won’t take the pain away. However CBD oil with the aid of THC reduced the amount of pain medicine. I’m sure there are studies will prove the use with using CBD’s in its purest form will decrease the amount of pain medications.
The studies have been out since the early 1970’s. Those studies were stopped because they found that is did in fact have positive results. This study was promoted by Richard Nixon. If you haven’t looked at that you might want to. As well as it was prescribed in pill form as late at the 1830’s. I’m sure you have seen the data.
On a personal note, I am looking forward to the outcome of said studies.

This argument is so simple. If you smoke it because it’s “fun” or “boredom” then it’s recreational. If you’re smoking it for ANY reasons other than “fun” then it’s medical.
Shouldn’t be this complicated, benedryl puts me to sleep but I’m still allowed to buy those OTC, kratom is legal and OTC but people still OD on that… somehow. Medical Cannabis is far less dangerous than chugging cough medicine or eating grams and grams of kratom. Marijuana should be legal, and hemp products should be available to anyone. Only reason it’s so complicated is because y’all are just trying to rake in money and profits from this medication. I don’t use the word “drug” unless it pertains to a “bathroom drug” like heroin or coke, aka the hardcore stuff you do in the bathroom.

If this jackass came into an Oklahoma medical marijuana dispensary he would be asked to present his license , if he didn’t have one he would be asked to leave , if he refused to leave he would be arrested and jailed.

Really? So they are going to make people (who are already in pain, etc) go through like 50 hoops and then CHARGE them to get a card saying they are eligible AND then pay for medical cannabis? Omg….. jeez…. (however, at least it’s legal that way…. pray for Wisconsin y’all)

Too much of anything can be a bad thing…. the key is getting the correct medication into the correct peoples hands so that quality of life can be had. Not eliminating one thing or the other, just lessening the dependence on the more dangerous ones, while reaping the plethora of benefits without long lasting negative side effects. I believe in freedom, and also that nobody knows how hard it is for another person. Some people live in pain so bad and never show it. The point is it shouldn’t be up to somebody else what medication works best for me or you, it should be between you and your health care professional. Although not having all the medicine available to the doctor because some of it is "illegal" is just ridiculous. Before medicating at all though, I believe a prospective patient should explore the following: Breathing techniques, meditation, crying as release, baths with epsom salts, heat and cold depending, self massage, electronic stim, physical therapy, lymphatic drain, vitamin supplements, Radio Frequency Ablation, rest, and then medication if necessary. If you are doing all you can to get well and be well and your physical and mental health is monitored as well as urine for confirmation, as long as you are healthy and not doing things and operating a vehicle or putting somebody else in danger like a child or in a public place, I really don’t see what the big deal is.

In my own experience I had a bf who was addicted to pot . Yes I know what everyone says about that. Supposedly you can’t but when that’s all you want to do is smoke pot. That’s being addicted. Also when you put yourself in a dangerous situation to seek out pot then there’s a problem.

As a daily user & decades of use of cannabis I ask on behalf of thousands of patients across the United States of America to please try to stop using the word marijuana to describe cannabis.
This may seem like a small detail but on the contrary, it confused and still does confuse many voters.
Individuals like William Randolph Hearst made the word marijuana a scare tactic and should not be used in any way when trying to legalize and regulate a healing plant.
    Thank you for your cooperation.

I can tell you for a fact, when I eat an indica dominant edible I will most likely get high and fall asleep, but when I wake up the arthritis in my neck, back, shoulders and hands doesn’t hurt for a week or sometimes close to two. However, the pain pills the Dr wants me to take only help the first couple times I take it, but also makes me sick and are proven to be deadly. Cannabis can be argued to be addictive, but it is about as addictive as coffee or less. The opiates the doctor’s try to give me are proven to be deadly and just the withdrawal of them can be so painful a person goes into shock and dies. The withdrawal of cannabis is you are irritable and have trouble sleeping. That means perfectly legal opiates are better for you?

If medical marijuana is legalized in over half the states it’s clearly not been a legal now or for recreational use because it’s a good painkiller and will put addictive drugs out of business. People who think that are morons. if medical marijuana is legal laws in over half the states it’s clearly not been a legal now or for recreational use because it’s a good painkiller and will put addictive drugs out of business. People who think that are morons. We still have an opioid epidemic despite states having legalized medical marijuana

Chronic pain patient here. 10 orthopedic surgeries, Psoriatic Arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis and Neuropathy. I use opioids and medical marijuana for pain. Oxycodone works better for my chronic pain, but have used marijuana in conjunction with opioids. Is medical marijuana the ‘Holy Grail’ for pain? No, it is not in my case. I take issue with the CDC, and DEA on their draconic methods to stop drug abuse. It has caused great harm and destroyed chronic pain patients ability to function in life. In their zeal they have tossed out the baby with the bathwater.

Can someone tell me If it will be helpful to treat inflammation

  47. Canna Fitness ECS TARGET THERAPY on February 18, 2020 at 11:23 am

Here comes my first comment….. we have the Entourage effect to support the endogenous cannabinoid system in our body. Recreational use of cannabis is still considered medical because you get in the medical benefit of smoking cannabis quick relief of stress nausea PTSD, inflammation and much more just because you get some enjoyment out of smoking cannabis does not make it recreational that makes you a happy person. #CBology ECS TARGET THERAPY a cannabis Wellness Plan
