Some states have laws where pregnant mothers can be arrested for failing a drug test at the doctor. Healthy or not won’t matter at that point.

I am pregnant and I stop smoking in the first month and now after two month some girls told me they had healthy baby’s while smoking and this information make me relapse. I am so stupid because now I back to fighting this hapit and really I hated thats I listened to them I feel that I am so selfish and I don’t deserve to be mom I just hope my baby will be ok I would die from sadness if anything happened to him because of my smoking.

Time to legalize it in the Philippines.

  5. Lil__Devil on March 4, 2020 at 11:27 am

Smoking a mind altering substance while pregnant? Why is there even a discussion here?

  6. Lifted Raven on March 4, 2020 at 11:27 am

I smoked weed instead of taking reglan. I hate taking pills. And after research I learned I wasn’t the only woman that chose weed over pill or prescription opioids

  7. Lalo pina lopez on March 4, 2020 at 11:27 am

It makes hella more sense to take cannabis. Wtf! UNBELIEVABLE I can’t believe they prescribed potentially harmful opioids over harmless cannabis!

  8. jevoisrein on March 4, 2020 at 11:27 am

I agree with most of the video but… what i don’t get is why do you smoke inside your home ?

  9. Jordan Clark on March 4, 2020 at 11:29 am

"Don’t smoke weed but I’ll hook you up with some morphine"

  10. mila on March 4, 2020 at 11:29 am

Okay so get this. My mom never smoked (weed and or cigarettes) or drank (alcohol and or coffee) while pregnant with me and basically i have learning disabilities and mental illnesses. But when a teen was on zoloft (which is something im on for my mental health) he killed someone, yeah people talk about it but not as much as the "negative effects" of weed??? Make it make sense

  11. Nanakay Nana on March 4, 2020 at 11:30 am

Anything got to do with smoke in to the lungs is cancerous, wether natural or toxic, some could happen so fast, especially when deliberately smoked through the mouth, ,smoking makes you grow and look old quicker, just wise up and don’t be fooled or foolish

  14. SoulReaperSlayer19 on March 4, 2020 at 11:34 am

    Quick story:

Friends mom was smoking pot while we were growing up, I was so sheltered I didn’t find out what it really was until my mid 20s. Long story short after high school, I went to college and she started doing pornography. Even in middle school she was always out of her mind and would be yelling randomly during class or making some kind of outburst. Started taking her clothes off after school for money. I always felt sorry for her and recently learned her biological mom smoked pot during her pregnancy. Let this be a lesson to all pot smoking mothers out there.

One day you’re husband or boyfriend is gonna be watching an adult movie and then all of a sudden start screaming as you run into the room and see your daughter on screen getting Cucked!

Loooo she lives so close to mee lool

  16. MadMaxxxi on March 4, 2020 at 11:34 am

I smoked my first and second trimester because my morning sickness was beyond severe. It was the only thing that gave me my appetite back. My unborn son is just fine and he’s due to arrive next month. I can understand the concerns from doctors with all the unknowns, but all the fear mongering and stigmatizing is completely uncalled for. Plus they try to put you on other medications that have side effects that, while they are indeed unlikely to effect your baby, might cause worse possible side effects. I had a script for ondansetron and took it. Sure it helped the nausea but not the loss of appetite. Plus it has possible heart defects, so I decided to go with 2 hits from a bowl per day. Worked like an absolute dream.

  17. joe fox on March 4, 2020 at 11:37 am

Please dopers don’t fool me one bit they’re loadies and you know it

  18. Lifted Raven on March 4, 2020 at 11:38 am

If she would have continued the morphine the baby would have been forced through withdrawals immediately after the umbilical cord was cut.

  19. 202Claudia on March 4, 2020 at 11:39 am

I don’t understand this. I’m currently pregnant and luckily my severe nausea has stopped but I never once thought about taking any drugs to stop it because it’s a known and very COMMON symptom of pregnancy. It’s hard, yes but using marijuana when pregnant whether you agree with it or not, if they detect drugs in your system while giving birth they call CPS. No one really knows the true side effects of using drugs, just like no one really knows what is a “safe” amount of alcohol you can drink while pregnant and have it not affect the baby. So why take that chance?

  20. Jordan Walker on March 4, 2020 at 11:44 am

I’m sorry but if you can’t see the effects until the kid is 10-15 years old and you’re saying it’s basically behavioral issues like ADD or ADHD…. y’all haven’t proven anything. Yes they may be able to see that it crosses the placenta but seriously 🙄 People have those same mental and behavioral issues when no marijuana was involved. Just admit y’all can’t prove anything and you don’t want people doing it because you can’t profit from it. Like how you gonna say don’t smoke weed, a scientifically proven no addictive and non gateway drug, but say you’ll put them on a morphine drip, a scientifically proven highly addictive and dangerous opioid that would cause the baby to be in the NICU for Withdrawal when they’re born…. That literally just has to do with money 💰

  21. Samantha Lopez on March 4, 2020 at 11:46 am

I would rather smoke a joint then swallow pills…

  22. RAB IS SENSEI COMPRENDE !? on March 4, 2020 at 11:47 am

    Interesting

  23. youtubificationizer on March 4, 2020 at 11:47 am

You can market the feeling you get from using cannabis with any number of words, but that does not stop the fact that you have chosen impairment over sobriety.

  24. Vile Crocodile on March 4, 2020 at 11:48 am

  25. Solemn Solace on March 4, 2020 at 11:48 am

I support smoking weed #420Lyfe but I don’t support smoking anything while a woman is pregnant I think that is child abuse. On another note if this woman was black she would have been arrested!

  26. the shimmys on March 4, 2020 at 11:50 am

The best way to judge most things is how beneficial a “party” is financially… Right now, Big pharma will jump on the MJ bandwagon…they have to, just like how all “media” HAD TO jump onto the Internet bandwagon. It’s a threat they won’t be able to control…but they can cover their future losses by getting involved…to which, I’m sure they are doing as we type. 😉

  27. Brent Spiner on March 4, 2020 at 11:51 am

I don’t understand why she smokes it. It’s known that smoking makes your body redirect antibodies to your lungs. Why would you want that.

  28. Dia2443 on March 4, 2020 at 11:52 am

What I don’t understand is why it’s such an issue to use marijuana when it’s been done for hundreds of years before it was made illegal, and the doctor said it can have no risk for the baby or it could cause mental disorders, learning disabilities, etc but that can happen anyway..I recently found out I’m pregnant and I’ve been smoking marijuana for almost 10 years and I really want to know if there is any actual risks but I can’t find any ground evidence as to whether or not there is a risk. I would like to continue using marijuana but it is still illegal in the state I live in(I live in the US, still not legal within the entire country)

  29. No No on March 4, 2020 at 11:53 am

They played a potentially dangerous game. That said, however, morphine is no joke. That’s how we ended up with the opioid crisis. Stop prescribing morphine for minor pain. Morphine is supposed to be used for MAJOR pain like car accidents.

  30. pu tang on March 4, 2020 at 11:53 am

I smoke weed everyday but if you’re pregnant and use thc you’re a failure as a human

  31. Chanel Simard on March 4, 2020 at 11:54 am

If it happens 15 years later how can you possibly know what caused it

  32. Hannah Williams on March 4, 2020 at 11:55 am

No they don’t warn against it. I asked my doctor about it and she said it doesn’t affect the baby at all

  33. Mariana Cortez on March 4, 2020 at 11:59 am

    I want a shirt

  34. Garry bale on March 4, 2020 at 12:02 pm

    Yah children must unite

  36. Kayla Plescia on March 4, 2020 at 12:03 pm

It’s not even a joke Staten Island New York is attacking me for Marijuana I have a mental health problem since 11 and when I got pregnant it was either take mental health medication that could cause the baby problems or just do what I was doing before and smoke weed and don’t take Medication that gives me a lot of side effects and problems I’d rather just smoke a joint and my anxiety attack goes away

  37. illwiz on March 4, 2020 at 12:07 pm

    Dangerous!!… Not convinced whatsoever

  38. Jose Jauregui Ibarra on March 4, 2020 at 12:07 pm

I agree with this concepts and frameworks. Are people smoking inside homes, with their children in the house? Does it matter? I’m a supporter of medical use

  39. Keda Myles on March 4, 2020 at 12:07 pm

I feel her. I didn’t do it while pregnant but I would for the next. I was so sick, couldn’t keep food or water down. You gotta do what’s best for you to get you through. I applaud them. Anxiety and depression is what I experience but no pharmaceuticals needed. 420 saved my life. Whatever, I’m lifted all day 😚

  40. Rueyful on March 4, 2020 at 12:11 pm

At 9:55 that scientist/doctor/woman is fantastic! Long may science and logic live! And also I am a cannabis user, as a matter of fact I am super high at this very moment (Hippie speedball, you know what I mean), but hey this is a drug. It is just that, just like caffeine, theanine, alcohol, apigenin, and so on, substances that are part of our frequent usage. The thing is to be open minded and just consider things for what they are, things are not you, they shouldn’t define you. Cannabis might be cool, a pleasure to indulge from time to time, but please consider at all times that it is a drug with everything that comes with the notion of drug.

  41. Tracy Hintz on March 4, 2020 at 12:12 pm

So, it’s ok when you drop off your baby and kids and they smell like smoke?

  42. Emosleep on March 4, 2020 at 12:13 pm

Notice how the doctor was saying how the baby could have no issues or some issues but she can’t exactly say what issues they would have and the learning issues can be from other issues in our society

  43. Louis King on March 4, 2020 at 12:13 pm

I literally have to smoke twice a day to keep fluids down i even had to go to the hospital for dehydration b6 and other nausea medications didint work.

  45. Gisselle Gonzalez on March 4, 2020 at 12:18 pm

My nausea medication from my first pregnancy was later recalled for causing defects… everything they give us has risks!

  46. Allie on March 4, 2020 at 12:19 pm

I have severe morning sickness that prevents me from keeping anything down. I’ve lost weight because of this, and the ONLY thing that’s helped me so far is smoking weed. I don’t care what the haters say!

  47. jessicagarcia113 on March 4, 2020 at 12:21 pm

I am currently 7 weeks and i need to smoke to keep my all day morning sickness at bay while trying not to vomit everywhere ! I am my only advocate for my health and my unborn so i choose to treat myself naturally.

The fact people call it high just shows, as you’re not on a high, you’re relaxed and calm, so I guess you’re on a low. A high is when you take a hit on something that makes you feel “high”
