Is marijuana bad for your brain? – Anees Bahji

Explore how marijuana’s two main active compounds, THC and CBD, affect your brain and body, and what risk factors to watch out for.

In 1970, marijuana was classified as a schedule 1 drug in the United States: the strictest designation possible, meaning it was completely illegal and had no recognized medical uses. Today, marijuana’s therapeutic benefits are widely acknowledged, but a growing recognition for its medical value doesn’t answer the question: is recreational marijuana use bad for your brain? Anees Bahji investigates.

So this entire thing just says “is marijuana bad for your brain? I don’t know, but I’m gonna make the video anyway” lol We don’t understand our brains yet. And I do believe this world is intertwined with the physical & the spiritual. And the spiritual influences the physical

If you smoked weed once as an early 15 year old would that permanently affect your brain?

I know it’s hard, as a young person.
But there has been a noted phenomenon in big, severe teen potheads, who become paranoid when they smoke in their 20s and beyond.
Do it only occasionally, so you can enjoy it life long. Don’t do what I did and ruin it for myself. I’m not talking about psychosis. Just uncomfortable reactions

Just be careful is all i have to say, Ive smoked for 10 plus years now constantly almost everyday, and the first ten years or so were great, but then my brain broke and developed schizophrenia, now when i smoke i have delusions and hallucinations that would never happen before. I still smoke a little but am looking at quitting for good. My advice just be careful you never know one day your smoking and feeling great the next your having psychotic episodes and your entire life unravels.

Its similar to alcohol, you use too much of it your life will be effected in a negative way. As long as people learn to use it responsibly there are no issues.

the Mexican congress just approved legalization
    of MARIJUANA

    the MSM won’t report it

MEXICO CITY – Mexican senators on Friday began weighing a sweeping initiative to legalize recreational use and sale of marijuana, a proposal that could create the world’s largest weed market in a country battered by a violent war against drug gangs

Discussed by the Senate’s health, justice, and legislative studies commissions on Friday, the marijuana bill would allow licensed sale of pot, let users carry up to 28 grams of the drug and grow as many as four cannabis plants in their homes.

The bill, which has been amended since senators initially approved it in March, regulates the cultivation, production, distribution, sale, and consumption of cannabis. The law will allow adults 18 and older to purchase and possess up to 28 grams of cannabis, and to cultivate up to six plants for personal use (eight if more than one consumer lives under the same roof). The bill would also expunge criminal records related to the possession of cannabis.
