Purple is a sign that the plant has suffered frost damage. I live in the northeast and run a cable between poles erected over the plants allowing me to pull a tarp over them at night. Like you I have six, I use one tarp per two plants, three cables, 6 poles. Looks like a tent when covered. Also great for keeping the dew off band fighting mildew and bud rot. If it gets really cold you can run a small heater under each tent giving yourself an extended harvest season. Helpful hint, use pullies and cloths line rope for pulling tarps back and forth. Also great for keeping the rain off, I use the cheap blue tarps as they seem to let the most light through. Hope this helps your grow season. Great looking grow! 🙂

How do you keep bugs off your trees. Awesome work

I know this video is 2 years old. But when you know its going to freeze at night then spray them with a mist when at night. The water will freeze over the leaves. The plant gives off heat and create a thermal protection between the ice and leaves. This way you dont get frost bite.
