This video shows the right way to trim your plants before going into flowering or during the early part of flowering. Trimming the lower 1/3 of your plant will increase yield and also make sure that you end up with only solid nugs that are easy to trim.
Have you ever seen a plant that had a bunch of larf buds on it? Larf buds are fluffy buds that dry up into shake. If you have, then you know that it is just the worst to trim! It takes forever and you know it’s not going to produce. One way you can avoid this is by making sure to utilize your Cannabis plant’s energy toward the top buds. You can do this by trimming the lower 1/3 of the Marijuana plant. When the plant is finished you will also save a lot of time trimming because the bottom of the plant will not be covered with larf buds. It is an overall win, win!

I received a plant from someone not sure what kind or how old it is it is about maybe three to four weeks old not sure it’s about 4 in tall when do I start pruning it
Hey good vid. But I’m wondering is it best to only prune smaller amounts at one time? Or will doing 1/3 shock the plant potentially slowing growth for a while? I’ve been trimming slowly since I already shocked mine a couple of times and can’t afford to slow growth down anymore at this point. Also I’m using surgical scissors so is that alright or would a scalpel or razor blade be better?
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO….TheThe leafs are the same as solar panels
4 weeks old?? Lies lol unless it was a massive clone lol. From seed thats not possible
4th WEEK?!
Would if they are already budding?
What kind of heat lamps can I use when introducing to darkness
Not very well
D
Is it good to trim a week or two before it’s ready to be cut or just leave it, someone reply haha
I don’t understand 1:00 If a plant has deficiency, and begins to cannibalize a lower leaf, why do we remove that leaf early? wont it just start sucking nutrients from a higher leaf? Why not let the plant take the nutrients first, and then prune that leaf afterward? I’m a noob, just curious
Thatβs a shit looking plansπππ
Do not toss the leaves. You can use them to put in smoothies, etc for the benefits. Get your greens in!
your plant looks not 100% healthy at all, why take ur advice?
Where the fuck are the roots bro?
Appreciate it! I need to stop babying mine when it comes to pruning
My plants outside and is big but hasnt started to flower yet not any signs of flower yet should I trim
Can you do this after it’s been flowering for awhile?
Damn this nigga was growing some fire lmao
Hello from the Island of Guam. Just started growing. When do I start trimming and only the ones on the bottom of the tree.
I want fluffy nugs should I not do this?
Did these girls start as clones?
Do you have to feed your plant nutritients as well? Are the bottom leaves feeding the top leaves due to lack of magnesium or something else?
Do you have to change the pot every week or not ????. I am just ask .
Thanks. I didn’t know about gradually decreasing light. Makes sense and it’s something I’ve thought about, as this is not how it happens in nature.
Clone?
Great TipsππΎ
Thanks! This video is much better than the videos made by so-called "professionals".
What he mean by clones? Sorry for the stupid question…
5 Years ago helped me out today thanks
Can you do this if you’re only a few days into flower cycle?
4th week as in from seed?
Hard nugs would to take your plant out in a hurricane
What is a goot timing set up for the water pump
Damn thanks man! This is my first grow and I have two females that have grown out of control. Didnt expect this and I’m low key freaking out! Do you have a curing process video?
What is that hydroponic gear called if I would go and invest in some and try it out?
I don’t understand the reasoning behind cutting the leaves and lower branches because " they take away energy from the plant" I’m not criticizing you I’m just puzzled. I thought leaves made energy for the plant? Also if the lower leaves are dying from nutrient deficiency at 4 weeks then the EC is too low or the nutrient mix itself is lacking .
Wouldnβt the clones be effected by the alcohol on the knife?
Seriously week four from a clone? Damn what strain is this and what lighting are you using to veg dude?
Is it just me or when he stops talking this seems like a dank star trek episode
Can you just put those into soil for cloning
Subscribedπ
If you cut a couple lower branches you can use them for clones!!! π±
is it too late to trim the lower 3rd of the plant after the plant has already developed decent size buds on the top branches ? I’m new , thanks !
I’ve found that slowly restricting light in increments like that takes the plant alot longer to flower. Thd stress of a sudden 12 12 is what throws the plant into flower.
Could you not clone the stuff you remove? May as well right? Sell them give them to your neighbours so they don’t rip yours off?
Are you sure its ok to trim again a couple weeks into flower/.
I’m experienced with MMJ and I must say you have very efficient system of teaching.
