Cannabis Cultivator Jesce Horton Makes Great Smoke

In 2015, Jesce Horton co-founded the Minority Cannabis Business Association (MCBA), the first non-profit organization to serve the specific needs of minority cannabis entrepreneurs.

With the help of Portland-based physician and cannabis specialist, Dr. Rachel Knox, MCBA has now expanded to include members in over 35 states, USVI, and Canada.

In this story, Jesce, Dr. Knox, GRAMMY award winning musician Killer Mike, and cannabis activist Nikki Coleman share truths about the billion dollar cannabis industry.

How do get your seeds to grow with out the law enforcement f’in with you and what areas of the country can you grow with little interference, i am a veteran interested in the industry but how it has been viewed in the US is that you will be a low life if you do this but yet I see many respectable people in the industry ,but by me being a minority ever thought of this is met wit persecution. So really how can one get into this industry .

A much needed organization, very informative video. Education is the only way to propel cannabis from the stigma.

So happy we found you! I can tell you, what you’re doing is definitely growing! We are in the Black Business School. My group is forming a company in the Cannabis industry. Our coach who’s a Dr. in Fiance referred us to MCBA through one of her colleagues. I can’t help but think WOW, everyone including Doctors not just street people are entrenched in the Cannabis industry. I’m too excited to be part of this movement!!!! Long overdue however it’s finally here.
