Great Show, and Irish Love
what is he talking about its not cold in ireland hahah
ya, it took me a long time to stop using oppressive terms for cannabis, you’ll get through it.
Great episode I’m from Ireland love it if they legalize weed
Weโre not in conflict with EU law btw Ireland like all states of Europe are sovereign….
THC"saves lives,, CBD is so beneficial" but it needs a little THC"" ? Smart,"lady,, legislation is a bit of an owl" codddd". Beats pain killer"s, any day,
Gangs pay them not to legalise .that why
I think itโs 192,000 per prisoner per year the laws on cannabis in Ireland are terrible I was caught 3 weeks ago with 61 grams they didnโt find a scale or anything and their still prosecuting me for intent to sale and supply I was caught 5 years ago with just 4grans the judge sed thatโs its a lot for personal use the laws are ridiculous they really are theirs a lot of smokers in Ireland if it was regulated then our countryโs economy would get better in a short period of time but the shades here seem to be going for cannabis a lot more than most other drugs witch is appalling considering how beneficial cannabis can be
In n.ireland you can be precsribed cannabis by a specialist only. I thought ireland would have gone down that route too. It does annoy me that any medical questionaire it states "are you an occasional drinker? like its a normal thing no shame. There is no mention about are you an occasional cannabis user on a medical form tho.
Update Luke Ming Flanagan on twitter sooner but surely cannabis decriminalized posted on the 18th Dec.
Most politicians are snorting the white. hell most of Dublin are
Palm trees grow fine in Ireland, they don’t look great in Irish gardens but you do see the odd one here and there.
same problem in Italy ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
I think we have both common and civil law! Depends on the knowledge of the defendant!
It not legal and it well should be. Also if your Irish and watching this look at Martins world on YouTube good actist in ireland
Itโs legal… if you donโt get caught
So close to calling the government out on their bullshit but she doesnโt know anything about politics….also if you want to change the system educate yourself…..start with groups and local TDs
Just back from grassroots civil disobedience protest in Cork. If support offer was real, there are people doing work already really needing it.
Great episode, great guest. Thanks Nicole!
If cannabis causes psychosis, does this mean all the people in Amsterdam are psychotic?
Great show btw folks.
Cannabis is widely accepted by the younger generation of Ireland. Just gotta wait for the older generation to die off and we will finally be a cannabis smoking, church condemning country that doesnt have a west-brit derived, blueshirt government that the majority didn’t actually vote for.
Watch out for undercover police officers AGAINST legalization of marijuana
It’s not that Ireland ”can’t”,it’s that they won’t !
Irish politicians are rotten, brown envelopes are how business is done.
Big business is the puppet master.
Pharma, publicans, legal profession all have monetary loss if cannabis is legalized.
Solicitors financially benefit from the endless court appearances. They have a cozy system that makes sure every case is dragged through slowly as they ”earn” more appearance fees.
Publicans financially benefit from the sheer numbers that frequent them(this would diminish if people could grow legally)
Pharma would lose all those sales of chemicals that are killing people(not to mention turning their mind to mush)ย
Follow the financial interests and it all makes sense. ย
Btw,they have stated that it costs at least โฌ 125,000 py ,per prisoner, but there is no explanation as to how this figure is calculated!
Just last month, the Irish Farmers Association called on the Government to legalize Cannabis in Ireland. The benefits to struggling farmers are clear – by legalizing this crop, we will support our farmers, and small business owners to create a new income stream in very uncertain times – injecting life back into our local communities.

On a side issue,Gardai are right now lapping up praise from the general public because of all the ”high profile drug busts” up and down the country.
What the general public may not be aware of is that, there hasn’t been this almost miraculous amount of drug busts due to Gardai ”upping their game” as they and the politicians would have you believe.
What has really been the cause of these busts is down to American agents that gained access (through software) of the mobile phone of a ”Top Mexican Cartel Boss’.
All data received (they had access to the phone for over a year),was then processed and forwarded to all relevant countries, hence why said Gardai suddenly appear to be doing miraculous work.
Likewise in Britain,Spain,South America,etc.
Cork.. South East…
Great start ๐
yes nicole gwan ya good thing the states need to buy us out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In the uk and northern Ireland and any former commonwealth country our law is based on common law but it’s legal(Law of the sea) acts and statutes that are used and applied while common law is ignored. Unless you have money you are guilty until proven innocent that is the reality day to day.
ireland is a shithole ,coming from waterford ireland !
There was weed here that was sprayed with 3m cannisters of glue to make it heavier, people were actually smoking this for months and knew it was ”off’ but continued smoking it.
This is what criminal enterprise has on the market.
Silica sand is still being used for weight !
you can buy CBD flower online legally but if your caught with it outside the guards will do ya
THC"saves lives,, CBD is so beneficial" but it needs a little THC"" ? Smart,"lady,, legislation is a bit of an owl" codddd". Beats pain killer"s, any day, you can look in at https://www.baronweeedshop.com

If everyone is serious about getting weed legalised…join Irish groups ,maybe set em up yourselves…find other groups….MOST IMPORTANTLY CONTACT YOUR TDโs AND LET THEM KNOW THIS IS AN ISSUE….Maybe get their views on the subjects nd even vote someone else in or help with their campaign…..
But there again over here there is nothing really stopping you buying seeds online or even in allot of the shops that sell them and grow for yourself and there’s a high chance your not going to get caught as long as your sensible about it
The Greens are too busy to respond, they’re digging up Dublin laying cycle tracks at a cost of ”1 million Euro’s per day for 1 year,โฌ365 m while our homless/housing crisis continues!!!
Working men are living in tents along the canal in Dublin, likewise in Cork,LimerickGalway, etc.
Ireland is common law, and yes it comes from the British version of Common law
I feel like a criminal" felt like I’ve had ms ,,most my life" due to childhood illness’ 4years my ass ,, .. search your own houses,," think green weed nothing to loose..I need help with pain…
Dรญa doaibh, I’m a Cork man and an Irish American. I grew for persomal use for many years in Ireland. I left because of the stress and the threat of jail for growing your own medicine. Now I’m in Missouri๐and no more stress! Unfortunately I won’t return to Ireland, the land where I was born, until canibus is legalized. ๐ช
@Nicole…,Cork is South west, unless they moved it ๐
Meanwhile Ireland STILL has a destructive relationship with alcohol, but you can’t grow a plant that would help to turn young people away from our violent drink culture.I think publicans are in cahoots with the politicians.
Irish government is a disgrace on so many levels. They weren’t even voted for…long story. Most of them are Landlords, Investors & Lawyers. They line their own pockets and do not care about the Irish people. Legalisation would help the agricultural, retail industry, etc. The tax revenue made from Legalisation could easily be put to use for improving the serious mental health support systems that are currently failing our young & old. Legalise + Regulate = Common Sense. #notmygoverment #talktovera
Tom @cannabislegalizationnews : "Do we need to buy some Irish politicians (in order to legalise it)?"
Nicole: "Yes! That’s how it works here!"
That is ABSOLUTELY how it works here. Thankfully, they simply want money and Ireland desperately needs a new cash crop, especially since Brexit and the pandemic.
The primary obstacle is vintners federations and other lobbyist / PAC groups who represent the interests of huge companies who want to continue to sell Guinness to tourists.
We live on "the emerald Isle", where there are "forty shades of green", where the first doctor in the western would to prescribe medical cannabis, and to Queen Victoria, no less…. hemp and cannabis cultivation would provide jobs, income, tax income, and industry on the local and national level. It is beyond absurd.
Wanna know who the people in power interested in legalisation truly are? Most all politicians, especially some of the more powerful Fianna Faรญl ones (I’ve asked em…) in any farming area (though not always openly) , which is most of Ireland. I honestly believe that, if any money were put behind promoting legalisation, it would work. Quickly. People – almost ALL – do not want it to be illegal.

Love this girl and her work
Sorry but this lady is extremely niave. The Guards (police) aren’t stupid. They arent going to do you for a small amount of weed (it’s a adult caution now for a first offence and legal for specific medicinal cases) If you get done it would have to be blatantly right under their nose.
A dude walking down the road with a briefcase full of money is linked to a criminal gang in Ireland and those guys are vicious. How vicious? Well the ones in Drogheda murdered and cut up a teenager recently and were going to spread his body parts around Dublin as a warning…that vicious. They control weed, coke, heroin, the lot, depending on the gang. Your boy selling you a baggie from homegrown doesn’t carry a briefcase full of money.
And before anyone come at me, Im just stating reality, I think everything should be legal and taken out of the hands of the criminals. Say what you will.
in ireland we call TDs Total dickheads
THE IRISH REJECTED THE HAND-CUFFS WHICH THE BRITS HAD PLACED ON THEM BUT WELCOMED THE SLAVE COLLAR AND SHACKLES IMPOSED BY THE EU . IT IS WAY PAST TIME FOR IRELAND TO GROW A SPINE AND REJECT THE TYRANNY OF THE OVERLORDS !
It costs โฌ100,000 a year to keep someone in an Irish prison for 1 year.
