So an American comes to Canada has parties it up. Says "yes" does his country deny him entry? We have no obligation to take him back.

Well looks like half the population of Canada will be banned. At least they will still have Muslim tourists.

These people are such hypocrites, they’ll crucify anybody smoking a cigarette, even if it’s outdoors, but they wanna smoke their weed wherever they choose…

  13. Zdenek Niederle on August 24, 2021 at 10:31 pm

Why is this surprising? Any country has right to decide who can come in. Why is this news?

Build that wall. Keep all Canadians out. Do us a favour. Who wants to go to a Trumped up America where the law runs amuck and the Gov. wants to lock all those harmless potheads up.

  18. Duke Huynh on August 24, 2021 at 10:34 pm

It works both ways. Same with Washingtonian can not cross the border to Canada with pot related background.

Impose similar harassment and lifetime bans on an equal number of american travelers for no reason.
Isn’t america all about "mirroring" these days anyway?

I love the US and most Americans but can’t stand there police, CIA, FBI, NSA, etc as it appears these agencies are becoming like Cartman on South Park, "Respect my authoritie" Yes it’s purposely misspelled.

  28. Katy Rose on August 24, 2021 at 11:03 pm

I won’t be travelling to the U.S. it’s just not worth it. There are far better countries to visit.

  29. Cathy Schneider on August 24, 2021 at 11:04 pm

U.S. authorities are finally seeing how much money is to be made from cannabis and are trying to let their cronies corner the market before legalizing it.

  30. heather mclachlan on August 24, 2021 at 11:08 pm

    This isn’t surprising.

  31. MrMaenambeach on August 24, 2021 at 11:08 pm

Any Americans with even slight connections to guns should be severely vetted.
