I got kicked out of VA as a drug addict. Marijuana only. I haven’t smoked in years. Still don’t have VA benefits because they think I’m a drug addict. Let the leash go. Too many people are getting hurt even if they have a bond with a substance that gives results. They VA doesn’t care if you drink all day everyday 24/7 365 days a year. Smoke pot in a state that’s illegal they won’t treat you. They will treat you as not willing to complete military standards. I don’t smoke pot but I am really upset that I did in the past and got black listed.

  3. Noodle Boi on September 18, 2021 at 11:53 pm

"Not publicized for security reasons" yea right people would prolly apply to work or go say hi with a joint or something before they try to steal their plants. Or at least I would

  4. Ryan Rich on September 18, 2021 at 11:53 pm

I advocate for marijuana and veterans. It’s a huge help with ptsd and other problems. But we are denied access unless we get it ourselves. But there is a completely different side of it that NOBODY is talking about. The growing side of it is very thereputic and I would love to help vets find both sides of the help that this plant can provide.
How can I get in touch with the group or groups advocating for it. I want to help and I think I know how I can help but have no idea who to talk to or where to look… Suprise surprise because the system in place to help us is a puzzle that nobody cares to help figure out, such as the VA, they are nothing but burocratic puppet masters and that’s why I keep them at arm’s length.

I really hope it will finally be legalized on the federal level!!

But big farma won’t sale opioids, and the war in the Middle East will end, and the super rich and politicians won’t get money !!!! How dare you ! To grow your own and find your own solutions. This a free country ! And we are free to control you at all times lmao !!

  12. Miles Boehmer on September 19, 2021 at 12:02 am

That’s odd cause my doctors have talked to me probably 20 times about the use of canibus for my brain injury since the army .

My brother was a marine veteran and he was prescribed medical marijuana buy a doctor at the American Lake Veterans Hospital in Washington state

For those of us with CPTSD, and TBI issues.
The normal meds prescription will not only cripple you mentally, but financially as well.
Marijuana provides an alternative that is not only naturally effective but cost effective.
    It’s a plant. Legalize it.

  15. Dorian Christe on September 19, 2021 at 12:03 am

I seem to remember a V.A. Dr Walker who was trying to get approval for vetrans’s p.t.s.d. cannabis treatment well over 10 years ago.. maybe 15 or more years ago. She was denied and demonized. Our vets die from their exposures to hell at a terrible rate. We should have everything available to make life better for our vets and citizens.

Keep it simple… Just end these oppressive laws nationwide. This so called war on drugs was always a civil rights issue, and a sign of ignorance and bigotry.

  16. My Motorcycle Obsession on September 19, 2021 at 12:07 am

I’m serious honey, I got this big ol marijuana joint from my doctor! 🤣

  17. Tom on September 19, 2021 at 12:09 am

The VA is making drugs harder to get under Trumps new opiate law.
I have cancer, I’ve had a prescription for Xanax for the last 15 yrs for when I was having a bad day, they really helped to calm me down, knock the ragged edge off. The VA just stopped giving them to me. They’re all afraid to write the prescription under the new law. Gave me Buspirone instead, unfortunately, Buspirone does absolutely nothing for me.
Since when do politicians know more about patient care than doctors do??

And yes, I would fully support marijuana legalization across the country. The reasons why Marijuana was made illegal in the first place have already been proven false, these old politicians need to learn how to change gears.

  20. Bob Arnold on September 19, 2021 at 12:15 am

It should be made legal & free all the people serving life sentences with a criminal record from a little weed & a criminal record is a life sentence. The government can make money from it instead of wasting money fighting against something that the majority of citizens are for. The negative side of weed sales from legitimate licensed stores is minimal.

Legalize cannabis! It will be the one thing that changes the world and brings us closer to each other while also curing and fighting so many issues mental and physical.

I don’t mind Marijuanna legalization but they need to make it smell better. I’m sure the states would love it as a potential tax revenue

Let’s support this. This is a good sign! Let’s support each other! We need to legalize it. This is for the ones who needed medical cannabis.

  36. Dogbertforpresident on September 19, 2021 at 12:35 am

I’m a veteran waiting for cannabis to be rescheduled so I won’t lose my disability benefits. I don’t believe that they would not take away my benefits if I was caught with it.

  37. iCon_xB2Gen Rich on September 19, 2021 at 12:37 am

    Don’t say marijuana
Call it cannabis hi end super kush

Small expectation from Veterans compared to the extent of their service.

  39. holychronic 99 on September 19, 2021 at 12:38 am

bush went into afghanistan for the opioids and they are killing us. It’s a total disgrace that marijuana is classified alongside heroin. I’d rather get my nuggz from a legal dispensary or CVS than an illegal cartel.

  40. Nevets on September 19, 2021 at 12:40 am

The medical weed business is a joke in states that do not have rec to. They rip people off charging them 80+ bucks or more for an 8th and 120+ for a gram of concentrate.

  41. 1sunstyle on September 19, 2021 at 12:41 am

I am in assisted living in Washington State. I have been practicing martial arts for 35 years. My best friend was a Vietnam Veteran who died recently of cancer. I told him I grew up smoking pot because my mom was a dealer. He didn’t talk a whole lot about his condition but he got hit really bad in the War and he told me ganja helped with his pain. He was on morphine at the end of his life. We have some elderly people in wheelchairs with major depression and I know it would lift their spirits to drink some tincture of cannabis.

  46. Jakeem on September 19, 2021 at 12:48 am

Are we(the government) ever going to admit the only reason why it’s illegal is because of lies from the 1930s?

  47. Larry Smith on September 19, 2021 at 12:50 am

It does work I live in a state where it is NOT legal and I have destination or chronic depression from the military.
