What a joke. He’s not allowing people to walk around without a mask, yet he’s allowing people to use marijuana all they want. Really?

  11. MURKIN RANZYZ on October 9, 2021 at 8:43 am

All the weed dealers saying 5 minutes and trying a hour you’re times ⬆️

  12. jalen rose on October 9, 2021 at 8:44 am

I hate ppl saying this is a bad Idea. People die off of prescription drugs and alcohol. I never heard of someone dying off of simple marijuana.

  13. CRT Wasteland on October 9, 2021 at 8:48 am

Its gonna be the same… Whites own the dispensaries and Cannabis producers.. and Blacks in line buying weed. Even when this is legalized it still wont be fair.

  14. J on October 9, 2021 at 8:50 am

All the crooked cops are losing their side-hustle. I’d be pissed too.

  18. John Rainsman on October 9, 2021 at 8:51 am

To ask directly and get a clear answer, does marijuana/pot end or reduce anxiety and depression? It’s for a short story for my English class; I’m gonna have my teenage character do a specific drug he shouldn’t being doing, because he’s miserable and stressed and wants to loosen up. I just don’t know much about drugs.

  27. Mr. Quinn on October 9, 2021 at 9:06 am

if you ban commerce, you forfit your ability to regulate, tax, and control it. now it will be harder for kids, numbskull. They just made the police jobs easier, and they are complaining.

  28. Ronny Rono on October 9, 2021 at 9:07 am

The old misdirection ploy. Well played Mr. Governor. Well played.

  29. M Safrons on October 9, 2021 at 9:08 am

It would be neat to just walk into a store and buy drugs

  30. B S on October 9, 2021 at 9:09 am

Worried that they’ll have access to a drug they should be no where near? They already are, and have had the same access already to alcohol and tobacco which is far more dangerous. Let’s stop with the bull sh*t arguments. Exercise good parenting skills, that’s what you can do, but stop trying to dictate everyone else’s personal freedom.

What’s so great about an altered state of mind? Pathetic. πŸ˜•

  36. G T on October 9, 2021 at 9:18 am

This will make it easier for our kids to get it and relatively say it is legal which means is good "in teens mind " but in fact it is very dangerous and it deteriorates the persons mind , society is as good as their preacher ,
I hope Cuomo and De Blasio burn in hell

  37. Ernie Tejeda on October 9, 2021 at 9:21 am

But meanwhile cigarettes r making a killing law makers r a fucking jokeπŸ–•πŸ½

  38. Marie E. on October 9, 2021 at 9:22 am

I don’t get how they will say kids will have greater access to it now that it’s legal. Legal or not if a kid wanted access they will have access. Alcohol is legal and kids have access to that the same as they do cigarettes. The fact that you have to be 18-21 hasn’t stopped these teens from getting any of that stuff.

  39. Patrick Kerner on October 9, 2021 at 9:24 am

    Cuomo has to Go!

  42. Zodiac Saint on October 9, 2021 at 9:26 am

Nothing like over policing a community that has more crime than all other communities God forbid right

  43. X -MAN on October 9, 2021 at 9:27 am

Somebody advise Cuomo to legalize marijuana as a power move to revitalize his political career.

  44. Freddy Melchor on October 9, 2021 at 9:28 am

    Decriminalize hookers next

  45. John Williams on October 9, 2021 at 9:29 am

Just what New York needs more stupid people..

  46. Ashley Banks on October 9, 2021 at 9:30 am

Anyone opposed to this should look into the history of the criminalization of cannabis. This is a great milestone. And its farrrrr less dangerous than alcohol, which was illegal at one point in our history as well.

  47. Mike Letterst on October 9, 2021 at 9:30 am

    Good job Governor..

Before you light up, please consider edibles instead. Some of us have health conditions that will leave us hospitalized and could even leave us dead because of the smoking.
