This is perhaps the single most important video you’ll ever see about cannabis real estate investment. Why? Because in this video, Richard Ormond, attorney, shareholder at Buchalter, and the nation’s first cannabis business law professor, gets incredibly specific about what kinds of properties you should look for in the cannabis industry. The end result is a deep, information-packed exploration of the most crucial elements in this emergent enterprise.

From this video:

Richard: In the 10 years that I’ve been working in the cannabis space, I have seen quite a bit. Let’s start with the large and go to the small. So, the largest properties we’ve dealt with are massive outdoor grows; are on acres and acres of land. The recreational laws actually changed the way people can grow because there’s limitations on square footage, and things like that.

Good interview. I agree on all fronts and I am a cannabis real estate specialist. The only correction I would make is that Costa Mesa does not allow dispensaries. It is Santa Ana that allows dispensaries. Potato, potatoe.Cheers
