The point made regarding the dis-unification of the medical and non medical user is extremely important. This is a generalisation, but it is happening and very damaging for the legalisation of cannabis, for the right to grow your own cannabis and use the product how you want to. I’m deeply concerned about market consolidation taking place in the UKs medical cannabis industry (CBPM). it’s true that vertically integrated companies are good at providing uninterrupted supply chains. However they are wrong. It’s wrong that one corporation can own the cultivation, manufacturing, distribution, the clinic and dispensing pharmacy. This will then translate into a recreational industry. We must stop monopolisation and make sure people who want to get into a future legalised market can. We must fight to make sure people can grow cannabis without limitations too. this is hands down the most important.

The D.A.R.E programme has been some of the best propaganda ever the generations that have been manipulated into thinkin these drugs bad, these drugs good is serious its going to take patience and education i know people in chronic pain that say no to cannabis because of the societal negative pressure it’s frustrating at the best and disappointing worst.
    Good show guys

Great chat and knowledge, bring on legalisation of all drugs and laws that care for the community. I recently read bits of ‘The Pursuit of Oblivion: a social history of drugs,’ it’s a really good insight into the synergies between culture, politics, medicine and the pharmaceutical industry – totally batshit as you’d expect but very interesting. Keep up the good work, fingers crossed current growers will be respected in any future system and general society wakes up to the evils of prohibition and ignorant attitudes.
