The new light they sent you, vs1000, would it be enough for a 48"x48" tent? Or is the vs2000 required?

My gelato has been in flower for almost 2 1/2 months. White hairs everywhere. Today I noticed they have been putting on weight and hairs have started to brown. Can’t wait. I will say this is the first and Last time I grow sativa. They grow to big and fast. By the time I noticed how big they were getting and how fast I realized this is not a strain for me. I feel like sativas should be grown outdoors to reach their full potential. Luv your videos.

    Hey Mr. Grow it,
So I’m running 2 of these lights (vivosun 1000w) in a 4×4 area. My plants are on week 5 of flower but they aren’t fattening up. Am I being impatient? Lol. Anyway the lights are at 10-12 inches from the canopy in coco with GH flora series nutes. Ive checked everything from PH, and runoff ppm too EC. Everything is looking right (all measurements and humidity and temps) please let me know what you think !
Wish I could send pics lol

  29. Dustin on December 5, 2021 at 3:22 pm

You were able to grow 3 plants in the 2×4?

  30. Jonathan Oliver on December 5, 2021 at 3:22 pm

Hey why did you switch lights mid grow and, will the first led light finish the grow if you used or was the light insufficient to finish the grow?

  31. Kane Erickson on December 5, 2021 at 3:22 pm

this video makes me want to workout for some reason.

  32. Benny Blanco on December 5, 2021 at 3:26 pm

This vid is old, but new viewers should be expected since it is a beginner’s guide. That being said, the only thing I didn’t like was changing the lights mid cycle. In my experience, the plants seems to establish a metabolism rate during flowering that suits their environment. I remember adding a stronger light mid-cycle years ago…and the ladies raced to the finish, really quickly. Were done almost 2 weeks earlier than usual. My only theory was the metabolism. They developed a rate that matched their environment, so once more juice was added, they stayed on that developed rate but were being pushed through it faster due to the increased lighting. It’s kind like sticking a frozen pizza in the microwave for a few min before baking it …the oven doesn’t need to cook* it for nearly as long.

  33. Jevon Holt on December 5, 2021 at 3:28 pm

I am a new grower I like information on what type of nutrients you use how often do you use it.

  34. Dan Tracy on December 5, 2021 at 3:28 pm

Hey Chris, is there any way to identify females before flipping to 12/12?

  35. PowerOfTheBlunt on December 5, 2021 at 3:29 pm

Plz get back to me on this. I have recently bought a vs2000 led and was wondering if the watt output is good enough for flowering and how ur vs1000 did in your flowering?

  36. Mainely Pokémon on December 5, 2021 at 3:29 pm

I’ve been so scared to push my plants into flowering because I think they’re too small. My clone is massive (for my first grow) but my seed to plants are 13-19 inches tall. I decided two days ago to change the lights and spread my plants out more because I think I had them too close together.
You should absolutely continue to do these types of videos. It is a massive help and relief for first time growers to have you as a resource. I have watched a few of your videos and I like your style so I subscribed. Keep up the good work! I appreciate it.

7:00 I was under the impression that "Flushing" WAS using plain water… Can you explain please?

  38. Freedom Born on December 5, 2021 at 3:31 pm

Cool, so you flush with plain water. Awesome, all the flush solutions got me confused af. Nice to know the alternative "natural" way. Subbed

  39. Lee Farmer on December 5, 2021 at 3:31 pm

The gentleman comment about the random reading may vary,,and he is correct when he says they don’t have to be dead on? My first grow 25 years ago,,I didn’t have any tools to monitor ph,water osmosis, temperature, and other areas? It came out great? It was 6 plants, and I lost one,but it was my first time.
This cat is on track,if you follow his videos you will grow professional grow as well. One major problem you will be confronted with?? Never,,never,,never tell any one or any body,,,never. I love my closet grows!

  40. Patrick Roepke on December 5, 2021 at 3:31 pm

Man it’s hard to find hermis sometimes. I had one last cycle I never found until harvest and I saw several seeds in the bud but it wasn’t bad just 1 or 2 here and there. I believe I overdid it with too much light from day 1 flower and didn’t back off until the fan leaves had some dry cracking like a scortch.

  41. Jack Dobberstein on December 5, 2021 at 3:31 pm

in a 4×4 tent how long do you leave the exhaust fan w/carbon filter on ?

  42. Johnny T on December 5, 2021 at 3:33 pm

life cycle 1311 13 hours off 11 hours on

  43. Susie Q on December 5, 2021 at 3:33 pm

So once the lights are reduced to the 12 on 12 off they stay that way till harvest? how many dry ozs did you get from this grow?

  44. Richard Peck on December 5, 2021 at 3:35 pm

    Cool video

3:56 do you still get buds from the hermaphrodite plant that you removed?

  47. r2dxhate on December 5, 2021 at 3:41 pm

Those plants looked light green in veg, like they needed nitrogen.

  49. Blake Clark on December 5, 2021 at 3:44 pm

So question for Mr.Grow it I live in the southern Applachian Mtns what would you think about about a late pheno type that just started flowering in the past two weeks and moving it into a 7gallon pot inside a tent of its own ? Thank you and I look forward to your answers or maybe a video later on

  50. Ed Brown on December 5, 2021 at 3:46 pm

My plant is a northern lights photo and I just saw the first tricomb how long should I wait now until flower
