You people don’t understand the market. Everything is moving into the favor of extraction. These are prices that extractors can pay per pound and still make profit. What you are here is the death of flower based cannabis and the takeover of extracts. Be in live resin or live rosin, the plants are extracted fresh, the never dry it. Live rosin is currently taking over and sells for anywhere from 50-120 per gram pre tax. Live resin is selling for about 25-50 per gram. Cartridges are another extract product, usually made with distillate or just plain old unrefined hash oil.

With Chuck Schumer killing the Safe Banking Act amendment in the NDAA (that passed this month), the cost of capital is going to really stress cannabis players with high levels of debt, as the Fed increases interest rates in 2022 by ~3 rate hikes. If the Safe Banking Act is not passed soon, these hikes will drive pain/defaults in the industry. He’s more interested in using ‘cannabis issues against republicans’ for mid-term votes than helping cannabis small businesses and the industry. Shameful politicians ensuring dangerous money management practices, higher operational costs and crime. Thanks Dems. 👎

This is normal in a free market. It happened in Canada it’s happening in California and it will happen in other states. Everybody rushes in to try to collect the gold, but there is not enough demand. Also many of these places pump out shit, and try to charge premium prices. Between the blackmarket and being able to grow plants on your own I’m sure it makes it tough on the small businesses. My buddy in Massachusetts can legally grow. He plants 2, and I think he can go up to 6 plants, but only has to grow one plant and he has enough to last him over a year.
