Pot Bust in Victorville and stolen electricity
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — An illegal marijuana operation was discovered inside a Victorville home following an investigation, police said Tuesday.
The bust occurred at about 9 a.m. on the 12300 block of Deborah Place in the southwest part of Victorville.
Deputies arrived at the residence and immediately detained two people who were inside while the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department – Marijuana Enforcement Team (MET) executed a search warrant at the residence.
“It appears the house is being used as a grow facility for marijuana,” Sheriff’s Spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez told Victor Valley News.
Investigators also discovered the suspects tampered with the main power lines at the residence to bypass the electrical meter installed by the utility company.
This allowed for the theft of electricity needed to operate the equipment used to grow marijuana.
The loss to Southern California Edison is believed to be in the thousands of dollars.
The suspects will face criminal charges for the illegal Cultivation of Cannabis; over 6 plants and Theft of Utilities (Electricity).
The investigation is ongoing, police said.
Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Gangs/Narcotics Division at (909)387-8400 or NARC-MET@sbcsd.org.

Bad boys theme song started playing in my head…
That’s my plug oh man 😂 now I’ll have to go to the alley dogs
Isn’t it legal now? I think just cuz he was stealing electricity made it all bad
Can anybody answer these questions..( 1) if it’s legal,is it taxed? (2) If it is taxed does the county of SB receive a portion? And (3) If the county does receive money, isn’t that hypocritical ? I take it you have to pay to play so this doesn’t happen.
