What a crock of sh*t, I have never in my life heard of anybody like running out of weed and was like "hey I don’t have any weed so let’s go shoot up some heroin" pot doesn’t lead the opioids prescription narcotic painkillers and nerve pills and things of that nature with opioids in them already Leeds to an opioid addiction. If marijuana is a gateway drug to heroin, then what are prescription pain pills, cigarettes, beer & liquor, mini thins and yellow jackets???????????????? Pot is a natural cure-all and big pharmacy knows that it’s bad for business all this is about is money if it ever does become completely across-the-board legal for medical and or recreational use it will be so ridiculously priced and overly taxed then it will be cheaper to get it the old school way, but regardless everyone needs to understand it’s not going anywhere legal or not if people want to smoke weed they’re going to smoke weed.

Wow West Virginia FINALLY decides to do something good and our moronic neighbors get upset about it.

Which brings us back to distrust in the law. Why are the "other drugs" categorized lower? Fix the system to fix the problem. Roanoke should be more worried about those other drugs that I keep losing friends to.

It is the fault of the user not the substance. If you have an addictive personality you are going to over indulge in everything from caffeine, to Tylenol. And caffeine, and nicotine should be considered gateway drugs by that logic.

Let me tell you about virginia, we already have weed and BHO everywhere. This is just fear mongering that like the rest of the states will ignore it. Those days are over, people know weed is harmless so don’t bother trying to lie to us.

There’s plenty of cannabis in Virginia. Here’s an idea legalize it and it won’t be a gateway drug. The only possible reason for the gateway argument is you want cannabis and they say "I’m out of weed so try this." that doesn’t happen if you buy it in a legal shop and it makes underage use less likely. Kids can get illegal drugs easily compared to alcohol, because if it’s illegal no one cares about your age and no one goes to the liquor store and the cashier says "we are out of liquor, would you like some cocaine?" Don’t be stupid Virginia!
