Alaska Marijuana Laws for Home Cultivation and Medical Use in 2021
The Last Frontier State legalized medical marijuana in 1998 and recreational in 2014. Here are some notes about Alaska’s’ marijuana home grow laws:
*Medical cannabis was legalized through Measure 8 which was approved by Alaskan voters at 58.7%. This allowed patients to possess up to an ounce and cultivate up to 6 plants but only 3 should be mature at a time.
*Recreational marijuana was legalized by way of Measure 2 and this allowed Alaskan adults to possess and cultivate the same as registered medical marijuana patients.
