I am beginning to wonder what we need the "feds" for, they seem to want to turn everything back to the states to rule and regulate. The "feds" don’t even protect our borders from invasion.

THE GOVERNMENT HAS NO RIGHT TO FORBID/BAN/FINE/CRIMINALIZE WHAT A PERSON EATS, DRINKS, SMOKES, THINKS etc. – EVEN IF A PERSON DIRECTLY HARMS ANOTHER THEN HE/SHE SHOULD BE CONVICTED FOR THAT SPECIFIC HARM/CRIME THEY CAUSED.

When did marijuana become property of the government?

  7. Luna X on August 21, 2022 at 4:43 am

I live in Colorado and use cannabis daily. I hope the federal government doesn’t legalize. The federal government should decriminalize and change the scheduling. Let the blue states legalize and collect all the revenue and tourism. Let the red States be stupid and miss out on all the tax revenue. For the people that live in the red States you can travel to our states and buy our legal cannabis or pay the Black market in your own States and miss out. Let these red states spend tons of money trying to keep it out and incarceration. 🀣

44 states have legalized or decriminalized already.

  19. decock45 on August 21, 2022 at 4:54 am

Legalize and leave it up to the states. No federal taxes and regulation. It’s already taxed and regulated enough at the state level.

The Fear Of Making It Legal Is About To Become A Reality, It’s Going To Be Controlled By The Government, Full Testing At Every Place Of Employment, No Matter The Job Or Place, It’s A Trap Smokers!

  23. D E on August 21, 2022 at 4:59 am

First off, if you do something knowing it is illegal and get convicted, you don’t get to just change the rules and it’s OK. You were a drug dealer. Marijuana is a profitable industry, more than alcohol or tobacco, it should be taxed. Lastely, I live in WA. Marijuana DUIs are very common and public use is a non stop occurrence. It should be illegal but unfortunately that will probably change.

  24. Fred Lenway on August 21, 2022 at 5:02 am

How is cannabis STILL not legal in the US in 2022??

  35. Giovani Lopez on August 21, 2022 at 5:17 am

As an investor, this is my statement about the cannabis market, Marijuana can cause permanent IQ loss of as much as 8 points when people start using it at a young age. These IQ points do not come back, even after quitting marijuana. Mental health: Studies link marijuana use to depression, anxiety, suicide planning, and psychotic episodes.

I’ll tell ya. I have tried (legally) codeine and oxy’s and other stuff that has been "FDA APPROVED" for pain and now I legally buy delta-9 THC medical flower and edibles and tinctures (Usually a 1:1 ratio) and they have 1000 percent more efficiency than those chemical we put into our bodies. But no! Lets make this as effing difficult as possible to make the most versatile and beneficial and natural available drug….STILL ILLEGAL (in some states!) Most states are now smarter than the rest.

  38. Christian Marino on August 21, 2022 at 5:19 am

If this law is passed how will this affect DOT drug testing ?

SNOOP DOGG POT FARMER DANCE SONG $$
I got out my pipe stuffed it with pot
You better believe it held a whole lot.
I whipped out a lighter thumbed up a flame
Sucked down that smoke which comforts my brain.

    I tried alcohol smoked cigarettes
They did nothing but give me regrets.
My mom had arthritis could not walk around
I rolled her a joint she danced on the ground.

I thought I was losing my lovemaking knack
After I smoked some to me it came back.
Soon I decided prices were high
I searched for some ground I wouldn’t have to buy.

I bargained for seeds from smokers all around
Got in my truck and drove out of town.
I walked through the woods where wild birds nest
Found me the meadow I thought was the best.

I dug up the ground sowed all my seeds
Said a small prayer for strong, healthy weeds.
I watered at night with a five-gallon pail
Mosquitoes went hungry for I wore a veil.

Seven months went by; I thought I would die
Till the Halloween moon was high in the sky.
At night I went out, in a camouflage suit
Used my corn knife to chop down the loot.

I hung it up to dry where it couldn’t be found.
Came back and got it, when it had turned brown.
I trimmed off the buds, stuffed them in bags
Called all my friends and passed out free drags.

In less than a week my crop was gone
I flew to St. Thomas with a love hungry blonde!!

Let’s make sure there is a liquor, cigarette and marijuana store on every street corner in poor neighborhoods…

Remember, when you see all your youth smoking on the street and in the subway, a generation wiped out, that,…

    that, is emancipation, not enslavement.

  41. Samuel MontyPython on August 21, 2022 at 5:21 am

I’m in California and I can verify that people STILL buy from their local dealer because dispensary prices are too high. It’s difficult to get a permit in the first place and dispensary owners barely make a profit due to sky high taxes. I’m pretty sure the street dealers (usually just average joes here with 9-5 jobs) are getting sold their bud from dispensaries or farmers on the side. And who can blame them honestly

LEGALIZE CANNABIS 2022!!! How does a horrible drug like alcohol get a pass? Alcohol kills thousands of people every year destroys families. Marijuana deaths zero, no one has ever overdosed on Marijuana. I believe God makes no mistakes and if he made a medicinal plant like Marijuana it must be for a reason. This is America, land of the free and if one wishes to smoke a little cannabis it should be their choice not the governments. Makes me sad that many politicians smoke marijuana but many people in society can get fired for having marijuana in their system on a drug test. Its Time for Change.
