Greg Biffle Dives Into Rivalries With Jay Sauter, Kevin Harvick, Boris Said | The Dale Jr. Download

The Dale Jr. Download touches on some of Greg Biffle’s rivalries over the years and the stories behind them. Greg details his dust-up with Jay Sauter at Richmond and the monetary fine and points penalty that fell on him because of it. As a result, when he and Kevin Harvick made contact at Bristol a year later in 2002, he knew he wanted to avoid a fight at all costs. They also discuss his famous feud with Boris Said at Watkins Glen in 2011, and how a perfectly thrown water bottle exploded into a huge blow-out.

We had to race against the Sauters at Grundy county speedway and they ALWAYS got away with cheating because the were part time NASCAR! I tried to beat up Johnny cuz they basically brought a Busch car one Friday night n lapped the whole field.

Greg is a true racer. JR seems to be able to get these guys to let it all out.

  9. Chad Hillis on September 16, 2022 at 5:08 am

Biffle could run top ten still today in a half ass car

  10. Wayne Dimmery on September 16, 2022 at 5:09 am

Loss of local network tv for lower income people killed nascar

What was Biffle pissed at Jimmie Johnson at martinsville for? I was a die hard 48 fan and I still.dont know what he was pissed about lol

  17. CocaColaDude98 on September 16, 2022 at 5:17 am

I love Biff’s explanation of the Boris Said fight. Paints the whole picture as to what happen. I remember Jimmy Spencer gave Boris Said the crying towel for that 😂

  18. đęññïŞ ®️ÅÝ on September 16, 2022 at 5:18 am

I love how this is the TMZ of Nascar 😆

  19. TanDawg58 on September 16, 2022 at 5:22 am

Seems like Biffle pissed off a lot of guys in his day:
    "What happened out there Sterling?
Uhhh, I got run over by a bug-eyed dummy, I guess. Just lack of patience, he done the same thing to Gordon last year"
Then there was Boris, there was one with Jimmie once.
But I always pulled for Biffle, as well as Kasey Kahne and Derrike Cope, because were from the PNW

That Watkins Glen 2011 finish always irked me. To fact-check Greg, David Ragan didn’t flip, but he was turned into the guardrail and hit hard enough to bend the wall, slamming into David Reutimann and Reutimann flipped over and slammed the guardrail again, while Ragan hit the wall 2 or 3 more times just about as hard as the first impact and collecting a few more cars.

What bothered me is that they took really hard hits, a car flipped, and they all landed in the middle of the track, NASCAR doesn’t throw the yellow. Tony Stewart gets a little sideways in the bus stop and spins OFF the track, but NASCAR throws the yellow for that.

And I grew up a Stewart fan, so I’m not bagging on NASCAR for waiting on someone "more prominent" to spin or something, I’m mad that a horrific crash happened well beforehand and they didn’t throw the yellow until some harmless little nothing happened 10 seconds after.

And don’t give me that "oh that was behind the leaders they were out of the way" crap because at that point the safety of the drivers involved in that wreck should’ve been the top priority (thankfully they were all okay but still)

  22. Joel Quidort on September 16, 2022 at 5:23 am

Biff was a i guy I never heard much of while he raced in terms personality. But dang he’s a great interview! Lots of detail and recall!

  23. Chris I on September 16, 2022 at 5:25 am

David Reutimann should have rearranged Boris’s face after that 2011 Watkins Glen crash.

  24. Ram Man on September 16, 2022 at 5:25 am

I did an interview with Biffle when he did "Breakfast with Biff" at Phoenix. Never got the impression he was the fighting type. But then again he is only about 5’5" and it always seem the short ones are fisty.

  25. The Moo on September 16, 2022 at 5:25 am

Pleeaaase… he was scared shitless, he wouldn’t have knocked Kevin out.

  26. moparedtn on September 16, 2022 at 5:26 am

Love Biffle, always have – but the Boris story always cracks me the hell up. 🙂

Always expecting this guy to win at Texas every time I went to the race

  34. a456987 on September 16, 2022 at 5:34 am

Ever since Boris caused that wreck I lost all respect for him

  35. Big Rig on September 16, 2022 at 5:34 am

That’s hilarious that Spencer was trying to pump up the crowd for the fight. He was GREAT for the sport.

  36. jkdwayne on September 16, 2022 at 5:37 am

Biff was the kind of driver you wanted to work for , no bullshit , just fuckn race . I was really dissappointed when he didnt knock Harvicks ass out.

  37. Joe Joe on September 16, 2022 at 5:38 am

" YOU DA MAN BIFFLE!". Been at several Bristol events over the years and the Harvick scrum ranks right up there with the snowball fight!

  38. Bill Ludlow on September 16, 2022 at 5:39 am

    Me love this stuff

  39. J P on September 16, 2022 at 5:40 am

The Texas 500 mile race 🏁 Biffle won no cautions 2hrs 20 minutes. I was very happy to see the 16 win. It’s a far back pure old school racing. To see Roush racing unravel like it did It’s still is hard to fathom.

  40. Logan's Doom on September 16, 2022 at 5:41 am

    THE INBIFFINATOR!!!!!

  41. Mr J on September 16, 2022 at 5:42 am

I remember the Biffle/Marlin incident at Watkins Glen in 2004 too lol mans had some run ins for sure.

  45. Matt 1968 on September 16, 2022 at 5:48 am

loved watching Greg race at the old Portland speedway !!!

  46. Donnie Rackcliff on September 16, 2022 at 5:48 am

I totally disagree with Dale Jr saying that Jack roush let everybody make their own decisions he had a hand in everything just listen to Mark Martin talk about times like back at Richmond when the intake manifold was disqualified Jack had hand in that he had a hand in everybody’s decisions listen to the Kevin LePage podcast

  47. OldMuscleCars on September 16, 2022 at 5:49 am

Greg says that he is looking at things from the drivers standpoint, to me, listening to this interview, he would be perfect from the management side of a NASCAR operation today. I always thought that he was (just a driver) but he knows way more about how everything else could and should work than I ever gave him credit for. He would be a huge asset to some team from a non driver standpoint today.

  48. alan316 on September 16, 2022 at 5:49 am

Harvick would have whooped your ass!

  49. C on September 16, 2022 at 5:51 am

We didn’t appreciate Biffle while he was a driver
