Hmmmm…. a reversal in attitude like this usually means someone is applying for permits and a licence to distribute and/or operate grow outlets.

  9. Ronnie Baker on April 15, 2019 at 9:38 pm

Looks like Boehner is getting to play a lot of golf..

  10. Cory Pritchard on April 15, 2019 at 9:39 pm

Marijuana legalization was popular with Americans when he was speaker of the house. Legislatures want to make sure the infrastructure, production, and sales are given to who they want.

  11. Jamaican Voodoo Posse on April 15, 2019 at 9:41 pm

Big drug companies want to legalize weed because they have gmoed it into poison. They will take it all over .

  12. Reel Tech on April 15, 2019 at 9:43 pm

33 states have realized that marijuana does not … I repeat… Does not … make Mexicans crazy. While the other 17 States still perpetuate William Randolph Hearst most discriminatory War ever.

Time for the second failed prohibition to end.

  18. David Ackley on April 15, 2019 at 9:56 pm

I think it should be. It’s no different than alcohol. I work hard and am productive, I should be allowed.

  19. The Holy Mackerel on April 15, 2019 at 9:57 pm

In America, this may be the one thing citizens are untied in spite of your “beliefs”: legalize weed. Stop throwing harmless people in jail, taking their money and ripping them away from their families.

  20. Mike Reiley on April 15, 2019 at 9:58 pm

Time to legalize weed, stop dragging your feet.

  21. Daniel C on April 15, 2019 at 9:58 pm

Legalize it, solves more problems than it creates

  22. Charles's Outdoor on April 15, 2019 at 9:58 pm

Imagine how much manpower would be freed up if law enforcement no longer had to deal with arresting someone because they had a little marijuana for their personal use. Suddenly arrests would drop drastically. Far few people in jail.

  23. Kent Torok on April 15, 2019 at 9:59 pm

Big Pharma is the problem , and has been for the last forty years ….. Big Pharma kills thousands of people a year …. more than terrorism …… It’s just that they are rich , powerful , and they bought these guys off a long time ago , they bought em all off ….. maybe people’s integrity will prevail , and the world will be better off

  24. GBAUTO on April 15, 2019 at 10:01 pm

As usual, until Big Business has an opportunity to make bank on the deal it’s a no-deal with Republicans. At this point, I don’t care who grows weed. I just want to be able to have the same access to meds as other people. Time for a change.

"When the American people are for something, their members of Congress listen"….
then explain the voting records of the 12 Senate republicans that voted to ATTEMPT to block funding to the border wall. Particularly Lisa Murkowski.

Cannabis is the ONLY thing that help on sclerosis, as an example of many unique uses. It can even cure a special type of cancer !
Imagine how many have suffered for so many years, due to government lies about cannabis, worldwide.

  28. Vanessa RM on April 15, 2019 at 10:06 pm

Cannabis plants tend to put out more oxygen than most plants. They are good for the environment if we can get more solar energy programs to these growers. It is better than AOC’s plan.

  29. JOHN DAVIS on April 15, 2019 at 10:07 pm

    LEGALIZE CANNABIS!

  30. Zou zouhair on April 15, 2019 at 10:08 pm

in this time, I m still wondering who kills people? marijuana or pollution.

  31. vinny Cool on April 15, 2019 at 10:08 pm

I’m buying stock in snack cake companies the second it’s legalized. Lololol for real though…legalize it.

  32. William Wallace on April 15, 2019 at 10:08 pm

I don’t get what’s wrong with you people…. this is still first class slavery…. states and federal government have control of the citizens…. legal citizens that pay your paychecks….. and you have the rights to take away rights just cause live in your country???? We work in your system and pay to live in your system and we have no individual legal citizen rights???? Is that or is that not slavery?????? Make us work!!!! Makes us pay to learn and live and get a god job and do whatever say and pay you for us working???? So many pay for rights to do things like drug companies… but screw the people they don’t own anything stolen by your ancestors????????????????????????

  33. Chris T on April 15, 2019 at 10:09 pm

What?! Archaic laws which are "out-of-step" with current times? Unheard of!

  34. PX• Riot on April 15, 2019 at 10:11 pm

Marijuana is not a million dollar or billion dollar industry, its a TRILLION dollar industry that would create hundreds of thousands of jobs across all sectors and industries. So how is this not the #1 topic among politicians when its exactly what this country needs right now, Jobs and Tax revenue to get us out of this soaring debt thanks to trumps "Tax Cuts".

  35. Silly Goose on April 15, 2019 at 10:12 pm

The state cannabis laws are corrupt and make it very hard for people to operate businesses. A separate federal bill should written, not a bill that federally recognizes the corrupt control of the states, which forced anticompetitive practices into the laws and told us voters that it was all or nothing. We need a federal legalization act separate from the states if we want to build a truly competitive market.

  36. Flambo One on April 15, 2019 at 10:16 pm

It is so bad in Canada that those so called health care workers that use this “medicine” are working together with street pushers to help them go after ther “target”.

  37. suzie seabee on April 15, 2019 at 10:17 pm

The munchie industry would make $$$

  38. paul norris on April 15, 2019 at 10:17 pm

They will continue ruining lives of those who seek alternative medicines.  Too much money to be made in penal systems for the state governments to legalize.  You also have too many politicians in the pockets of big pharmaceutical companies.

The dark age is slowly ending. Glorious.

  40. The Holy Mackerel on April 15, 2019 at 10:19 pm

I’m from Canada. There is a reason why we’re better at getting along with one another. Actually, there’s lots of reasons. But cannabis is one of them.

  41. Flambo One on April 15, 2019 at 10:19 pm

Mr Boehner may not realize that being for marijuana is being for slave making. And if he does what does that say??

  42. Ryan K on April 15, 2019 at 10:19 pm

How’s Obama John? You two were quite close.

  43. Rose Phoenix on April 15, 2019 at 10:20 pm

  45. Geo Diver on April 15, 2019 at 10:21 pm

I will never believe that weed is harmless. I saw my tenant going from smart guy with job who started smoking weed turning into the dumbest guy without job. I had to terminate the rent agreement for non-payment

  46. Lear King of Albion on April 15, 2019 at 10:21 pm

I have wondered for the past 3 years if obliviousness of peril to one’s personal safety has any provable relationship to the immediate and/or lingering effects of smoking dope. Anecdotally, the connection is easy to observe.

  47. We The People on April 15, 2019 at 10:23 pm

You must dumb down the brain somehow, pot is good, Canada has legalized it, and Vehicle accidents are up, Pot related, surprise , surprise, as if the present brain isn’t dumb enough. The good news, at least Americans can get stoned out of their minds to forget the trouble America is in and all the Fake News, you need something to numb the brain. And proof, you can buy your Degree in Universities, now they are churning out Dumb Zombies by the hundreds, your parents can bribe your education, even if you are total Moron.
