Bullshit. As long as you use it in moderation and small amounts, you will not have any of those negative side effects..

I take small doses of cannabis in the morning and it helps everything that I struggle with. makes my depression go away. and it slows down my train of thought so i can focus. other wise i get frustrated with anything I’m doing. it makes my social situations easier to handle. if it wasn’t for pot I would feel like hell all the time.

  11. sewpahmon on July 8, 2019 at 4:59 pm

Smoking almost everyday for more than 9 years now.

    1. the isolation aspect is only true since marijuana smokers, the ones who have jobs or ones who are productive in some way, tend to shift the perspective use of the drug. it isnt about being social, its about not being able to tolerate some particular individuals/ people since it seems like a simple waste of time and effort.

    2. initially it makes you more social with others but quite anti social to your family (especially if you start in school or college), that changes with time.

    3. the pot can really fuck with your cognitive skills and in some cases, speech, framing sentences, forgetting a particular word etc. dont even get me started on the short term memory. eg. wallk into a room to get something, forget what you wanted to get, that isnt normal, but mostly only occurs whilst one is under the influence

Many more things but i believe those are based on an individual level, not a general pot smoker thing.

The ‘negative effects from long term use’ is total bullshit. I’ve had anxiety and depression literally my entire life. My mom took me to the doctors a few times when I was still only like 4 or 5 I believe she said and I was having an anxiety attack. My first anxiety attack was when I was barely 3. Throughout my entire 18 years I’ve always been on and off medication like Prozac. This sort of medication works great for like a month then they give me chronic headaches and panic attacks. I was honestly worse after I stopped taking Prozac vs. how I was before. Those anti-anxiety and depression pills are addictive with multiple side effects. I started smoking marijuana, like most teenagers, behind my parents backs and illegally. My parents found out and we had this huge, basically week long discussion in the process of me being grounded. I explained to my parents that marijuana basically completely takes away my anxiety and depression with absolutely zero down sides. It is not addictive, never once have I had any sort of withdraws. I smoked for a year and a half, from ages 15-16 1/2. I stopped from 16 1/2 – 2 months away from my 18th birthday. My parents agreed that I was happier and less isolated and suicidal when I was smoking, and so we moved to Washington and I got my medical card.
In no way whatsoever does marijuana harm anything in your body. The cannabinoids and THC help 99% of the time, no it isn’t a perfect method but what people don’t understand is that, I do NOT have to BE high to feel better. I get high every so often, but it’s when I have the cannabinoids and THC in my system that I feel better. These things stay in your system for 3-4 weeks. So it isn’t like you have to smoke every day. It really angers me when people say "Long term pot smokers are lazy, isolated and unmotivated.". I have plenty of friends who do not smoke, and I love them to death, it does not matter in the slightest to me that they don’t smoke, and it doesn’t matter to them that I do. I am an author studying business. I have a part time job outside of school as well. I never drive while high, I study and get good grades, matter of fact I study better high, and remember things better. I never go to work or school high, I only smoke at home or at a friends house, and I stay where I got high unless I am walking, taking the bus or getting a ride from a sober friend or my parents. I am a responsible functioning member of society along with plenty of other pot smokers. No one has the right to generalize the behaviors of  people who smoke based off stupid stoner movies and irresponsible teenagers who are new to the world of cannabis. Just like no one has the right to generalize anything about any certain group of people based off their sexual orientation, skin color, religious beliefs, culture and so on.

Yah good video, he gave us the positive of responsible use and ended with the irresponsible use where your just like becoming an all out party monster which is true from experience

  19. Dawg Pound on July 8, 2019 at 5:10 pm

    He seems high asf

  20. Jay Clark on July 8, 2019 at 5:16 pm

I remember in the 80s, pot was a terrible thing. Billions of dollars was spent showing how many kids died each year from it. It was proven as a "gateway" drug. This is your brain…. This is your brain on drugs… At what point did it become a "Miracle cure" for everything from ingrown toenails, to depression, to PTSD? Was all of that scientific proof WRONG?? Am I witnessing a true miracle? Or just the beginning of another burnout generation? 🤔

  27. djexclusivee on July 8, 2019 at 5:25 pm

Pot kills your motivation & dreams. Most people say they are productive smokers but they wouldn’t know how productive they are without it. Pot eventually turns into a habit & then you are addicted. If you need that or any other substance to help relax then you just have to find a better way to handle to relax. Your mind stays foggy for days after so if you smoke every few days your mind never has clarity & the vision to find your purpose

I like how people that have never smoked it are the first ones to tell you it’s bad for you. Like they have any idea what it’s like. They just trust words on paper and believe every doctor in the world is honest.
