You also need insulated duct lines, because all of that heat being removed and running through the ducts is just dissipating back into the room.

I have 3 separate rooms, 15.5’x16.5’x9′ in height. Question about the vortex fans. I have the same ones 6inch. One in a room is fine? Or am i going to need stronger ones? Rooms are parallel left to right. Dry room – flower – veg. Veg is 15.5’x18.5×9′ others 2 are 15.5×16.5. Planning on doing 3 separate runs the dry room the furthest and all 3 ending up in the veg room and out the wall. Thinking of all 3 filters in the veg room. Advice?

I’m β€œthinking” of growing some auto’s in an ebb n flow set up.
I’ve been told I can run the lights on 24hrs.
What would be the best timings for floods.
Every 3-4 hours, for 7 mins throughout the whole 24hrs?
    Does that sound about right?

Question, do you use a generator as a back up since you lose power frequently?otherwise , couldn’t you lose a crop?

  35. Jon Osterman on November 8, 2019 at 2:29 am

Tip: if you want to bring in other peoples clones/genetics, build an isolation tent or room. Put this grow tent as far away from your other plants as you can, and give the new plant(s) a treatment of azera or neem for about one to two weeks. If you don’t see any problems or pests, it means you are prob good to go and add them to your mother room.

  36. Jon Osterman on November 8, 2019 at 2:32 am

Try running a real co2 generator, burner type, during flower. You will wonder why you never did it before. It is the only way to get really nice buds.

  43. cco127 on November 8, 2019 at 2:38 am

Great video, however I will say that blocking mild soft lights like you was explaining on your dehumidifier and that you used tape to cover the small LED lights during the dark period so as to not cause hermi to your plants. I honestly believe it is a myth (for the most part). plants growing naturally outdoors receive small amounts of natural lights from the moon and stars. So it’s quite normal for plants to receive small about of lights throughout the grow. I’ve have small LED lights in my tent and have never had one hermi on me. But great video, and happy growing.

  44. Jon Osterman on November 8, 2019 at 2:39 am

Also, each new cycle is an opportunity to improve. Consider what you did last time and how you might do better this next time. Do not become stagnate and just be happy with the nice little result you saw the very first time you grew. Always look to improve and get better.

Hello, great vid have started my first project , enjoy your vidsquestion, doesn’t that dehumidifier blow hot air into the grow room?Mine did, and I had to return room was 79F at night time periodI’m now using A portable AC/Dehumidifier but the dehumidifier acts as an air conditioner and freezes the room
