House committee approves federal bill legalizing marijuana

The House Judiciary Committee passed a bill that would legalize marijuana on the national level. This would give states the right to decide their own policies and an incentive to expunge criminal records with low-level marijuana offenses. The next step for the bill is to pass the full House of Representatives. However, it’s unlikely the Senate will take it up soon as many Republicans have criticized the bill.

The tremendous exposure to American by nuclear waste, nuclear leaks and the complications of this exposure I gladly accept the legalization of Marijuana as a open public use of medication and to save many from the effects which have already damaged them and they’re left in a stoned limbo so they don’t notice How bad this all is….

In the United States of America, 90% of those convicted and sentence to jail, or prison for Marijuana are Black or Hispanic. This is nationwide and why it’s about fucking time that cannabis got legalized! This is a ridiculous and white supremacist supported method to oppress Blacks and Hispanics to keep them out of jobs, from getting college loans, and to keep them from voting. Initially, drug laws were well intended as heroine and cocaine were addicting and killing thousands of people in the 1890s through early 1900s. However, anti-marijuana laws were not enacted until 1935 beginning in the state of Louisiana purely due to its high rate of usage among that states Blacks–especially in New Orleans with the enormously popular Jazz music and its performance clubs. In these Jazz clubs, were vast majority black musicians–who would smoke "Reefer" to relax, calm and even put them into states of euphoria that made their performing much better. However, the horror of marijuana was for the white men who were deeply shocked, dismayed and enraged that unaccompanied (by white men) white woman were flocking to the jazz clubs and socializing very closely with not only the black musicians, but the black patrons as well. This was a huge "no no" in the Jim Crow deep south as well as much of America at the time. Also, white men felt that the "reefer" made Blacks more bold, courageous, self-assured, confrontational, belligerent, and "sassy" against whites, who felt Blacks were inferior and needed to be controlled. In other words, the marijuana made Blacks more challenging to white authority under de-joure white supremacist caste system laws. In addition, jealous, racist, and enraged white men felt marijuana made white women "loose" for black men. Therefore, came the anti-marijuana laws of Louisiana that soon spread nationwide and was tremendously expanded under disgraced scumbag US President Richard Milhouse Nixon who felt that Marijuana fueled the 1960s Counter-Culture that was militant and defiant to conservative rule and authority. So there you have it: STUPID MARiJUANA LAWS! Stupid laws that are are a crime against humanity! White people in America never have their lives destroyed by any laws mostly targeting Blacks and Hispanics. Marijuana laws are a prime example. It’s as simple as institutional American racism that this true one and only shithole racist country has these inhumane anti-cannabis laws first enacted 85-years ago. Republicans, who are the official party of white supremacists, benefit tremendously by anti-marijuana laws due to how they keep Black and Brown people out of the competitive higher education and jobs sector. Racial oppression is the ultimate goal of anti-marijuana laws in America.Β

Oh, one more thing: Do you know why Marijuana became knows as "Reefer"? Well, the answer is that the place to get it was from the refrigeration plants that made those huge blocks of ice used in home refrigerators before electric refrigerators were invented for the home. If you just arrived in New Orleans and didn’t know where to get some marijuana, you were told to go down to the "Icehouse" and ask for the "Reeferman." "Reeferman" = Refrigeration Man! Fascinating, huh!

Now, end these stupid fucking anti-marijuana laws!
    Legalize weed!

https://congress.gov/bill/116th-congress/house-bill/1588/text……………………………….there’s a chance for this, but there are those in our government that hinder progress. It is very important that they undo what Nixon did. I has to be removed from the list of Controlled Substances. If just that much can be done and done within the next year, then that is indeed progress made.

It is about time to make marijuana legal. Years of saying this was a gateway drug, when opioids became a gateway drug that was legal. So many medicines made from marijuana that could ease a lot of pain.
