It’s true and I know because I experience it all of the time. It didn’t happen until I abused thc for a few years. I’m not a lightweight either— I consistently smoked fully packed bowls all day, everyday, for years and years before that. I would proudly proclaim the mantra Wake and Bake. I would laugh at people who couldn’t pull a whole hit without coughing. I smoked so much weed, for 17 years, I still can’t really get life without it. I only admit these things because I want you to know I’m well acquainted w herb and I’m not speaking lightly. Most people probably just get an unhealthy paranoia from it if they abuse it, some people can go into full blown panic disorder.

But when the psychosis does actually manifest it is very very hard to unlearn the remembered trauma of it. It’s like if you were in a car accident and even though you are in a car years later you will still remember that. It’s like PTSD because a panic attack makes you feel like you are about to die. It really feels like that. That memory sticks and then you can’t do it without that fear.

Also, THC causes your brain to stop inhibiting your thoughts. It’s overthinking on octane fuel. It can be overcome but you have to take a lot of time and take your brain and body to a healthier place. Most people laugh at this cannabis psychosis thing but all of us smokers have seen someone freak out on herb and especially when people do it the first time. Honestly— just use it respectfully. Don’t smoke every single minute of the day.

He was already predisposed to a mental psychosis.. from the video it looked like he had a panic attack.. talking about things living in his brain? Dude always had problems and weed just exposed it to everyone around him.. this video pisses me off and I hope everyone this knows this kid will get mad at him for going along with this propaganda. And allowing other people to get into his head making him think it’s just the weed causing this!! Hes gonna have another break again and then who’s to blame?

Too much of anything is not good for you. Duh? Except sex. πŸ™‚

  7. Stan Mann on March 16, 2020 at 12:00 pm

No. People with mental disorders are more likely to use marijuana because they are in pain.

  8. Jamon Taylor on March 16, 2020 at 12:01 pm

I’ve been smoking since I was 13 and weed triggered my psychosis just recently I experienced people trying to put spells on me and synchronicities with sound, plus I thought the tv was talking to me and music I listened to was about me. An antipsychotic called invega seemed to get me back to normal.

HIGH THC SPEEDS UP THE PROCESS OF PEOPLE WHO ARE ALREADY GOING TO HAVE MENTAL ILLNESSES. WEED DOES NOT CAUSE ANY OF THIS, IT ONLY SPEEDS UP THE PROCESS.

  13. ΠΌΠΎΠΌenΡ‚z on March 16, 2020 at 12:06 pm

mmmmmmmmm idk bout this. weed didn’t make your kid depressed, his life did, like it does for so many of us. Now self medicating with certain things is definitely not good and can have devastating results but more research is definitely needed.

  14. Charel Trihart on March 16, 2020 at 12:09 pm

    Still trying to demonize marijuana

  15. Tristin Day on March 16, 2020 at 12:10 pm

People who wanna commit suicide are already taking substances to deal with the pain. I know this is exaggeration but it’s like saying "Drinking milk when your younger is linked to car crashes"

  16. Yu Haden on March 16, 2020 at 12:10 pm

These same people demonize vaping but ignore cigarettes down with Babylon Trump 2020 Impeachments going nowhere

  17. ForsakenServent on March 16, 2020 at 12:11 pm

No. It’s just Bull S!#@ the British government forces on its general public. And now the anti cannabis movement in the USA are going to try to use it against the citizens of the USA. He didn’t sound bad in the car. But the parents needs looking at as not suitable to be parents as control freaks shouldn’t have children. And as for strength of cannabis in the 60’s .the hash was 60%thc plus back then. They’re scare mongering. 1 in 15000 males 1 in 30000 females can have cannabis psychosis. Bad genetics is the problem. Not cannabis.

THC has not done anything of the sort for thousands of years! Need to see what else is in the vaping liquid. Stick to the plant! These people are liars!!!! Fake news!!!
U all are not the authority in the subject and need to stop lying. Worry about those poisons you promote through pills.

  26. Scott Bagan on March 16, 2020 at 12:19 pm

Great Journalism and story. This topic is underappreciated in cannabis world. People are smoking on literally the highest THC content they can get. But that means there is limited if any CBD! You need CBD to relax! The new stuff is crazy strong. I recommend anything under 15% to enjoy cannabis real effects.

  27. Ashley Reyes on March 16, 2020 at 12:20 pm

the study that says people who smoke marijuana have a high suicide rate.. maybe they smoke marijuana bc they’re DEPRESSED?? and they were suicidal bc they were DEPRESSED. i vape thc daily, and before that i smoked normal marijuana for years. the only negative thing that’s happened is before i got my medical card i would buy thc carts for my pen on the street, and a fake cart gave me an infection, i went to the doctor and they told me my blood cell count was extremely high/low (i can’t remember) and that i had an infection, after that i got my medical card. this guy obviously was on other medicine, lack of sleep, ect. if he had been vaping for over a year and was fine obviously something else was involved. and maybe smoking made things β€œworse” like he said bc he didn’t change anything abt his life πŸ™ƒπŸ™ƒ people always love to blame the weed lmao

  49. Kayaking CrAsian on March 16, 2020 at 12:46 pm

Do a study comparing the harmful effects of prescription drugs vs marijuana vs alcohol vs cigarettes. Plus you need to look at existing, underlying, mental health issues relating to substance abuse, not use.

  50. BarkFish on March 16, 2020 at 12:48 pm

    Quite with this propaganda
