0:49 that’s just not true at all

Marijuana is a name given to cannabis in order to align it with people of color in the 1st half of the 20th century, in order to have it prohibited. Mostly by DuPont Chemical & rascist of power.

Cannabis, is a genus comprised of THREE different plants. All of which have FLOWERS that people have traditionally smoked.

Marijuana and cannabis are used interchangeably to an extent and excluding "hemp." Marijuana is a colloquialism born from racism.

People smoke cannabis flowers. A long time ago a bunch of white dudes thought itd be a solid idea to name them marijuana. It helped them make money.

0:29 marijuana is the " smoke of Cannabis sativa L " .. marijauan presents the smoked form of the pl;ant and all studies / research ( NIDA) present the smoke as the actual plant

  7. Webulosity on September 11, 2020 at 11:37 pm

You are incorrect. Marijuana is the word that was taken from the Mexicans when they referred to home grown tobacco. Cannabis and Hemp are the correct words to use. Forget using "Marijuana" and you can move forward without bias. CBD derived from Hemp is low in THC. cbd products can be purchased online at http://www.thegoodearth.global

.How we got the word marijuana , Between 1910 and 1920, nearly a million Mexicans migrated into the United States ,
soon racist anti-Mexican sentiment had begun to steep and the term β€œmarijuana” aroseas a negative correlation of its use
by Mexican immigrants. warning Americans of the dangerous and homicidal tendencies caused by using β€œMexican cannabis” or β€œlocoweed,”
which lead to an even greater rise in anti-Mexican sentiment. My point is the fact that it’s become a normal term for the bud Of the cannabis plant ,
It’s a little disturbing that Some people have adopted what was once racial fuelled Terminology Intended to Scare people away from using the most useful plant on the earth Cannabis .. Before 1910 the term β€œmarijuana” was non-existent and β€œcannabis” was the primary term used to classify Any part of the cannabis plant.
Thanks for your useful video, but I thought I would share some facts , Back to my paper on cannabis that’s due tomorrow πŸ˜‰ https://nowthisnews.com/videos/weed/the-term-marijuana-is-rooted-in-racism

Yo she forgot the last evolutionary purpose which is to help the plant pollinate. That’s why when you grow good weed you keep it from pollinating so that it will produce as much of the crystals as possible so it can reproduce and pass on it’s genetics. Seed weed is shit weed.

raw cannabis does NOT contain THC or CBD it contains THCA and CBDA it must first be decarboxylated. ( Decarboxylation is the process of heating cannabis to activate its compounds) THCA and CBDA are non-psychoactive, so you can eat as much raw cannabis as you like and you will NEVER get stoned https://wheresweed.com/blog/education/2020/apr/what-are-thca-and-cbda-cannabinoids# ——– https://blackbirdgo.com/discover/thca-cbda/

  29. Sami Sallo on September 12, 2020 at 12:17 am

Sorry to be the bearer of clearing fact vs. fiction, but calling "Marijuana" the flower and leaves of the Cannabis plant is highly inaccurate. In fact, it sounds more like you are addressing the "COLA", which includes the pistils, calyxes, and trichomes – the flower, and aside from that you have the Leaves and Stems, which is speaking of the anatomy of the plant. The term "Marijuana" is actually a cultural term used in Mexico and Latin America in the 19th century that has a descent from ancestral lines meaning "Maria Juana", which was used to describe the healing and spiritual essence and properties of the plant. During these times, the healers who used cannabis medicinally were called "Marias and Juanas". Marijuana was also spelled "Marihuana" which "Huana" meant to feel drunk. There are many reasons why the term Marijuana is used, depending what part of the world you are in, but I think we need to get our facts right before generalizing it as you did here in this video.
