Covid-19 'Ironically' Boosted Cannabis Market, Curaleaf CEO Says
Aug.18 — Curaleaf Holdings Inc. Executive Chairman Boris Jordan says the Covid-19 pandemic “ironically” helped the cannabis industry as new customers trying to alleviate stress entered the market. He speaks with Bloomberg’s Caroline Hyde, Romaine Bostick and Taylor Riggs on “Bloomberg Markets: The Close.”
yeah because everyone is bored and smoking at home
Forced shutdown for months, people are anxious and stressed so they medicate.
Cannabis needs to be legalized federally, alcohol industry is packaged in cans sold everywhere.
That is great
Of course your giving free money for people not to work so of course weed and alchohol and overall drug use will increase
Demand for herb will always go up, every year it does.. I literally grow for the biggest one on the stock market, you all are going to see prices drop heavily in December, and in 2 years it is going to be legal and below 100 an ounce for everyone (already in west coast and denver)

Pengin…
I bought Cronos very cheap today.
Correction: Trump’s v-shaped obsession pushes cannibus stocks up
What the world needs to do is smoke a bong to my song.

Nothing "ironic" about it. People are very anxious and uncertain about the future, so they’re alleviating stress by using drugs/alcohol. Add to that massive gov’t forced unemployment and people have nothing to do.
